As were 3 of the "A" games, 4 of the "B" games will be played at Riverview Park this Sunday (this is nothing new, I posted the B schedule a while back). Contrary to the common misconception, a trip out to Riverview will not take a full tank of gas, or require you to bullet-proof your vehicle, or cause you to leave 3 hours before your game time. The field address is: Riverview Park 10601 Riverview Rd Fort Washington, MD 20744 The time and distance from points in Fairfax County, relative to Herndon (the other "B" playing location this Sunday): From Springfield: Riverview Park: 16.7 mi – about 23 mins Herndon Intermediate: 25.2 mi – about 32 mins From Burke: Riverview Park: 21.4 mi – about 31 mins Herndon Intermediate: 24.5 mi – about 35 mins From Fairfax: Riverview Park: 24.6 mi – about 36 mins Herndon Intermediate: 13.0 mi – about 30 mins From Falls Church: Riverview Park: 25.8 mi – about 38 mins Herndon Intermediate: 16.6 mi – about 26 mins If you live in the Reston/Herndon area then of course - Herndon is closer. Aside from that, the time and distance is either closer or the difference is minimal. I have driven there every other Sunday this Spring and traffic is not an issue. The top 4 "B" seeds (17, 18, 19, 20) will select their preferred game slot first, then (25, 26, 27) and 28 gets what`s left. We`re trying to extend Herndon to 4 games or add a 5th to Hook. Once we know for sure where all 8 game slots will be I can start posting the schedule. The "B" quarterfinals will be played at Hook (1 game) and Lake Fairfax (3 games) on 6/22. "B" final four will be at Hook on 6/29 along with the A v C, 7 on 8 challenge game.
