this is a stupid poll. we did not play well today and give the macdaddies credit for making plays in the second half.
they had two scoring drives, and we had three turnovers. that is tought to overcome.
questionable pass interference play that resulted in a diesel interception that was wiped out helped them continue the drive.
good luck to the maddaddies as they move on.

If "diesel player" really was a player on diesel, he would know that everyone who played on Sunday has played with Diesel throughout the season. There were no ringers or new guys that just came for that one game. Just another person hating on Andy... what`s new

Actually, if we gave out a "Coach of the Season" award (and we might start with individual awards as well next season), Andy (Diesel) would be on the short list for that honor.
Regardless of your personal opinion of him, or experience playing for him, you can`t argue with what he`s done with that team in just two years: Novice to Open Division winner/#2 overall end-of-season Open ranking.

How good a coach are you when you have to put a new team together every year. Be on the side line and hear how his team talks about him with no respect. I may have 4-5 of his players by Fall.

Check the pictures. Same players, a few different jersey numbers. A few guys played different positions. Main change was me at center. Usually wear #6, switched to #10, and played center, horribly I might add, instead of slot or WR. Also rushed a few on defense. Like I`ve been saying, all the guys who played Sunday are in the first team picture for this season on the Diesel page. Please point out to me who was new on Sunday.

Ah yes, the magnificient response from another feeble minded imbecile. I never came on here claiming to be the best team. Or claiming that the playoffs will be full of cake walk teams. And nice touch with the originality on that Diesel sucks statement. Can`t say I`ve heard that before.
Only reason I posted was to clear the fog on the whole "Andy brought ringers" statement. I`ve heard enough bashing of my squad and I went ahead and said what needed to be said. Yes we lost and are home for the playoffs... s**t happens.
To answer "Why`s" question... We made a decision, it didn`t pan out.

If Andy was a good coach he would know when he is hurting the team. He is a good guy but does not know what his place is and that is off the field. The team was improving but you cannot face the good teams in this league with sub par players. That team won because of mistakes by Andy on and off the field.
Bringing new players to the team that played with him on week night league. This shook up team chemistry a little bit.
Switching player`s different positions because he wants too. There were no decisions made to switch players at positions that benefited the team.
Lastly trying to get his friends to start just because they are his friends.
Andy switched the center with a WR for no reason you don`t see this in the NFL and that is for a good reason. The worst thing you can do is switch the center. Another thing is he thinks he is a lot better and he believes he is a good judge of talent. He would not know talent if Randy Moss and T.O slapped him in the face. If you total his catches all year it has to be about 10 and 5 of which he threw interceptions
Please tell me he is a good coach again…..

They put you at center because you could not get open at wide out or catch the ball. To tell the truth you guys may have won the game if you did not snap the ball over the QB`s head 3 times. Also I heard its true none of the good players are coming back. As for me guarding you in the fall I have all ready played you and you are self checked.
P.S. Try to get on a team where you can at least play the position you claim you are good at.

I can assure you that no one on my team is bashing on me. I have already weeded out all the unnecessary. People who are close to my teammates and I will know we all have a good rapport with each other.

Ok lets get this straight. I never said or brought up that I was a good coach. For one this is flag football, no one really "coaches a team". I don`t tell my team to do push ups or run laps. We don`t ever have practices except for a few scrimmages we have before the season starts.

Before the season starts, my job is to recruit new players when old players leave or let go. So yes, we have new players for this spring season that has not played in previous season...don`t all team have a few new players every season? Yes I have some guys on the team that I play with on weeknights, so what? As far as chemistry, I thought all the new guys gelled. We scored 177 points (3rd in the league) and only allowed 57 points (5th in the league). I don`t really see the shaking of the chemistry? We had one bad game and it happened to be in the playoffs.

This statement truly tells me you have no idea what you are talking about. I have the same depth chart set up assuming all my players will be there for that weekend. If someone does not show up, I have to make game time adjustment. Most my players can play any position. If I threw in a linemen back at safety then I would understand why you would make this comment. As far as putting my friends in to play...true, everyone on my team is a friend of mine.
Diesel 6 (the guy who played center for us for the playoffs) has played center for us before. He hasn`t been at the center position in past few games because one of my starting receiver can`t make the game. He would fill in as the WR. I don`t think you have matched up with him because if you have, you would of been smoked.
