Alright peasants, I can’t wait any longer… Waiting on a Banditos-Rhinos game is kind of like staying up late watching Cinemax waiting for the Shannon Tweed nude scene. Sure, you get a little rise out of it, but afterwards you realize you should have just rented a porno on PPV and gotten the whole 4 hour block with girls too young to even know who Gene Simmons is.
So ARG’s gonna G-O with what he N-O’s here and just “pretend” that the Rhinos make the playoffs. Sorry Banditos, but if you’ve ever seen a Rhino with it’s back against the wall…. well, you will soon. One last dance for the Save the Rhino Foundation, and then this party is gonna end quicker than a Hillary Clinton fundraiser.
So let’s say the standings go like this. Like any good gambler, you set your own line first. You compromise, analyze, rationalize, and re-analyze the game and how you think it will play out. Then after all that, you go and bribe one of the players….
1. Wolves v. 16. Playmakers (-13)
2. Diesel v. 15. Mac D`s (-7)
3. DM v. 14. All makes (-18)
4. Dietze v. 13. Outlaws (-10)
5. Sharks v. 12. Vegas (-8.5)
6. Lazy v. 11. Badboys (+3)
7. Outcast v. 10. Rhinos (-3)
8. Coyotes v. 9. Larry`s (+6)
Note: If you don’t know how to read a point spread, don’t even read my newsletter. Sorry Fireman.
So that’s my initial cut at how I think the games may go. DISCLAIMER – these are NOT Sheridan’s lines. Sheri-baby is the one with the super computer Commodore 64 that creates the magic. My offering above is merely or you to stack up against HIS actual lines. Where you see the largest disparity, well genius there’s your exclusive members only, players club, gold card, platinum-plus, privileged information, insiders edge, 5-star, master lock of the week!! (Oh you think you’ve got it figured out now??? Nice try peasant - the magic is in setting your own line, not comparing it to the betting line.)
Now I know a lot of you out there are clamoring for more, but in the same vein as the Cinemax reference above, I’m gonna put a lame end on it right here and roll credits….

First of all the sh8t is f*cking humor. If you take the sh*t that seriously, you need to get over your f8cking self because the sh8t isn’t that serious. Secondly, you called us f*gs? So you’re addressing the whole open league now? Here are some tips for you. 1. Come up with a more clever thread because apparently yours is not hitting. 2. Please move up to the Open League next year so that I can make sure Tom puts your team in my division so that I can show you how much of a f*gg8t I am and so that you can put out my fire for me. You’re fire man right?

Now back to the humor. ARG, I don’t know if Sheridan will think to kindly of you putting your spreads up prior to his unless you’ve received prior approval. But I will say this, I’m an Outlaws fan and they must have found IT offensively. Whatever IT is, I’m sold and I’ll go with you on that one. There is another game here, which I won’t mention, where there is a major key player injured that may have an effect on the outcome. I’ll place an anonymous bet on that one. ARG, once I get the second half of my payment from last week’s deal, I’ll give you the inside scoop. I’d like to have a boat someday to, you know?

Thanks peasants... but there is no need to deal with Fireman and his witty "ARGG" comments. I would expect nothing more from a man that holds a job that could easily be replaced by an automatic sprinkler system.
For the rest of the peasants... please read my newsletter carefully... there is no upstaging of Sheri-baby and his lines. These are merely my rough thoughts on how the game will play out. Similar to a line, yes. But different in that I don`t take money, I MAKE money.
As for my C league retorts... Not only funny, but those are just plain true. Granted, I laugh at all of us cubicle jockey wannabe NFL`ers that don our cute little flags every Sunday no matter what division. But I get a bigger kick out of all the chest thumping I see here on the MB. ESPECIALLY, when those comments come from the C division. The C division is where 1st time teams should get their feet wet, learn the rules, find some talent and build some chemistry. The only natural progression from there after a season (or two) is the open. Then chest thump all you want, because at least you are playing in the highest level of competition. And don’t act like you don’t WANT to be in open A. You WANT to be in A. It’s bad enough we all go to the office M-F and say “I play football….well, FLAG football” But you can damn sure bet that C leaguers don’t add “C-league Flag football” to the end of that comment. You keep that your dirty little secret, don’t you boys??
Hey, that’s fine… no one says you have to be in A. The world needs IT guys, accountants, Best Buy employees, and even FIREMEN. No one said you had to be an athlete that wanted to compete in the highest level of competition possible.
And finally, C is for beginners. A team needs no more than 3 seasons. If it ain’t clicking by season 4, hang it up Chuck Norris. Don’t you get it fellas? At this point, it is kind of like a normal person competing in the Special Olympics. Well … except for you Fireman.

I think what you fail to understand is that the more worked up you get, the more people get on you. People in the Open league have played together and against eachother for years. They have earned the respect from eachother. You have played one season in this league.
Teams move up every year. Typically, they get worked for a year or two, then learn how to play better. It doesn`t mean a team sucks or won`t get better. It`s just the nature of the beast...
