Kinda curious as to who has the best O-Line and what kind of role its played in that team`s success.

Don`t know who holds the title now, but back in the day Kerns had O-line on lock!

Lazy, in my opinion, has the best O-Line overall. They have a deep rotation at the line. And when they have their full squad out, their starters on the O-Line maybe the best out there. Their bigs move their feet extremely well and are versatile. They can catch passes and can double pass. One of them was a former QB.
Sharks have a good line as well. I enjoy playing against them the most because their physical and like to bang. I love physical play and I love banging. Their center has good hands and can get up the field if you give him some room.
Pain has some big boys, who I find, have the best communication among linemen in this league. It’s one thing to say who you’re blocking before the snap and it’s another to communicate during the play. During the play they’ll inform Hollywood to step up when their blocking the guy to an outside, inform each other on switches, etc. I was impressed with their communication.
So in conclusion if you have linemen that can block first, are versatile and communicate well you have a template for success offensively.

I actually ask because I feel my play has been seriously sub-par recently. So our other tackle and I have been going out and working on technique and form. Got me thinking and wondering who was the best? :)
And just a note, I`ve started plenty of threads related to C, but I`ve seen what C has to offer O-Line wise, and I`m willing to wager if I want to look at a good example I should shoot higher.

My knees are shutting me down now days. You`re best bet is to check out the A league playoffs and see what the top teams are doing. And prior to the beginning of the season, see if you can get a scrimmage with one of the teams. Look at Diesel`s success. I remember when Andy first came in the league you would see him at all the top level games. I knew it wouldn`t be too long before he started receiving some success. But the bottom line its all football and the techniques don’t change for the most part. For linemen it will always be footwork and then your hands.

Oh yeah the Kerns line was good also. Aren`t some of them playing with the Sharks now?

I agree Locs, technique will always be the same no matter what form or what level of the game you play. The sessions we`ve been doing lately have identified some serious flaws in my technique that I`m working hard to improve on.
I have watched Lazy play a couple times, and we scrimmaged this Spring against Mutiny and OTIS and I think all three instances have shown me things to work on as well.

Mutiny has a good O line as well. Small center but he makes up for that with pass catching.

I was very impressed by Mutiny overall. It was our first time going against Open Level competition, and their cohesiveness, especially defensively really stood out. Really nice guys too.

Rhinos used to have the best, but I think they lost a couple of guys. Lazy is good, not great.

When Dietz line does stay to protect, they are pretty good at giving their QB time.
