I haven`t seen Rhinos play since Bark Bowl 04, does anyone know of any changes as far as what there doing differently, personnel etc…

don`t remember what they used to do I guess I`m wondering what they do now to make them so good. Who key players are, where possible weaknesses are... Last I saw they were mid field brawling during the bark bowl with some other team...

They will work you to death with the short stuff. The line is a good part of there O. They are one of the top teams.

Bark Bowl 04 is a very painful memory. We went into the tourney missing both our QBs and the new guy who was suppose to play for us in the tourney got hurt on the opening kickoff of the first game, so we were down to a 4th stringer. Needless to say, we lost the first game to Spaulding and the second to Mac Daddies. Unfortunately we also got involved in a silly and regrettable game ending brawl with the Mac Daddies.
Let’s just say Bark Bowl 04 is not one of our shining moments.
How have we changed since summer 04? I can assure you we are done with fighting over flag football games.

a brawl is not something you see everyday in this league that`s why it stuck out
do they have a good blocking line or mainly quick guys who go out for passes?

They have a elusive Q who can see the whole field. Good pass rush, hard to block. They cover good. Don`t make a lot of mistakes. Cause a lot of turnovers. When we played them they sat in a zone and if your Q overthrows or underthrows they ball they will pick it. I guess the way to play them is to just be patient and have long drives and work the middle. Don`t take stupid risks. Don`t go for it every forth down. And especially don`t let that Q get to the outside thats where he does the most damage.

looking at that game it looks like the Rhinos lost that game, why would the MacDaddies start a fight if there winning...either way it`s not something that happens often in this league or is it?

You don`t see real fights and when you do it usually is one player starts something with another player and then just a bunch of shoving and then they are kicked out of the game.
Even though I think they do miss calls here and there these refs do keep things under control as soon as tempers rise as far as I have seen and I have never seen an all out bench clearing brawl.

Wow, Mac Daddies in a fight..big shocker. They are a bush league team stuck in an easy division. Inferiority complex is so high they fight with anyone and everyone for no reason. No class, no talent, no luck in the playoffs!

I am obviously missing something about a beef between the Rhinos and MacDaddies. As a 6 year veteran of this league, I have nothing but respect for both temas. They play hard and play fair, but also want to win and get frustrated when they don`t.
I am tired of the young punks talking trash, acting like they now the league based on one or two games. So you hate the Lions, but they win don`t they?!?
We haven`t faced the MacDaddies in a few years, but they were always good competition and good sports (angry on the field, friends on the side line).
As far as the Rhinos go, they are our Dallas to our Redskins. Love to play them, hate to play them, good gamesmanship, good fun, on and off the field, and a shining example of a veteran flag football team.
I love to talk trash, but only in the spirit of fun. I love to win, hate to lose, but thank god my paycheck comes from elsewhere.
The teams that win in this sport are the one`s that play smart and keep their mouths shut. The ones who lose, talk trash and don`t back it up. Nobody has a bigger mouth than me on the field, but I come to play. I am old, slow and stupid, but show up every week and leave my heart on the field. I hate to lose, but love the exercise and sportsmanship between guys I haved played with for years.
Keep up the trash talk, stop the excuses and the B.S. and start having enjoying the game.
And to those of you shaking you head, wiating to type you response, PLEASE STOP, GET A DICTIONARY AND RESEARCH YOU RESPONSE, BECAUSE NOTHING IS MORE PATHETIC THAN POOR GRAMMER!! YES THAT MEANS YOU...
PS - Excuses are like *******s, evreybody has one. If you lost or forfiet because you didn`t have enough players, than you don`t have a real team. You din`t lose because you were short-handed, you lost because you don`t have team!! The rules are simple.. Be on time, field 8 players and play 40 minutes!!

one incident between MacDaddies and Rhinos, all in the heat of the game, never any beef after and no beef now with the Rhinos, should have never happened, but it happened. Congratulations to you all for a fun competitive season. To those who were injured this season the MacDaddies wish you all speedy recoveries.
