Title of the post is "If the season ended today...". The season does not end today, the rest of the regular season games are very meaningful and will determine the final rankings.
Just to be clear: this is not the actual playoff schedule. We will not have an actual playoff schedule until the regular season ends.

I`ve seen some surprise upsets happen over the years like when the fighting chickens who were #16 (I think)knocked off playmakers who were the #1 seed, but would have to give it about a 0% chance of happening with DMOB. I wonder what ever happened to the chickens they were a cool bunch of guys.

First drop All Makes,Playmakers,DWC,OITS out of the A bracket since they will all drop 2-3 more games each.
Then add Novas,Pain,Titans plus maybe Mutiny into the A bracket and that`s pretty close to who`s in and who`s out.

I don`t know if this is or not so i`m asking, is the team D.M. that`s playing in PG. Is this the team from Richmond, cus somebody said state champs and national champs. And if it`s true they travel from up that way every weekend cus that`s some true commitment to playing some football. And if it`s true, Sharks, Badboyz, Lazy or any of the other teams don`t have a chance then, cus i see this team is blowing out everybody and is only given up 12 points in 5 games.

That is correct. The reason their playing in the MD league is because the winner of the MD league gets an automatic bid to Nationals. That is the reason the Sharks and D-Mob aka DM are playing in that league. Virginia team have to go through the VA state tournament in order to recieve a bid to Nationals.

Dmob is the team from Richmond, they did not get their paperwork in early enough for states so they are trying to make the nationals bid by playing in the MD league. Speaking of where are they now, what happened to spalding...their QB used to crack me up when we played them.

DMob is for real! OTIS is decent but not ready for prime time and would probably lose by about 4 TD`s to DMob. The Final 4 is any mix of DMob, Sharks, BadBoyz, Lazy, Wolves, Dietz, and Rhinos depending on brackets and full squads showing or not. And Spaulding QB most likely finally had a heart attack after one of his many hilarious melt-down outbursts. He was funny.

thanks for the answer there guys..wow they really want that bid to do that traveling every weekend..also it makes me say they must think that the md league really sucks to come up here and do that..they are really confident to do that..but thats good nothing wrong with that, and they are proving it so far..but would be pretty damn funny if they didn`t win it and didn`t get there bid after the traveling every week..

I wouldn`t say they think that the MD league is weak. The odds are better for them going through the MD league (7 or 8 teams) versus going through the VA state tournament (30+ of the best teams in VA). Plus they don`t play every week they have a double header every other week.

Is it top 4 in each division or is it top 16 overall all that makes it to A? I ask because if the season ended today, Off in the Shower will make the A playoffs even though they lost to Pain. I don`t see why the Pt. Diff of teams from other divisions should penalize Pain.
I know in the past we use Pt. Diff and top 16 overall because the numbers didn`t work. (ie. having only 3 open divisions) But the divisions works out perfectly this year.

According to tom`s numerous posts about the playoffs, it`s the top 16 teams, regardless of divisional standing. So, run up the scores on the weaker teams in your division `cause you`ll need the points in the event of a tiebreaker.

You are definitely an OITS player and you have to be kidding. Go out and watch any of the top 5 teams in the league play, look in the mirror, and try to tell yourself with a straight face that you scrubs would be within 2 TDs of any of those teams.
