AP #1 D.M.-Ran through the first half of the season #2 Lazy - Devastating Defense very experienced #3 Sharks- Great WR`s solid D and Experienced #4 Wolves- Defending Champs, Solid Offense great hands #5 Dietz- Always Dangerous isn`t being talked about much #6 Rhinos- Defense is good, Offense is suspect #7 Diesel- Putting up some numbers and solid wins #8 Outcast- Hard to score against, could make some noise #9 Larrys- Definition of experience #10 Coyotes- Not sure if they can hang with high scoring teams #11 Playmakers- Need to tighten up their D if they wanna make moves #12 Bad Boyz- Tough schedule, don`t let their record fool you #13 CCR Novas- Former powerhouse looking to return to form #14 Vegas Knights- Give up to many points but can light up the boards #15 Mac Daddies- Defense will keep them in games but won`t win a shootout #16 OITS- Young inexperienced but have talent to play but will be hurt by their lack of exp. #17 Makes and Model- Balanced team that needs to find some more ways to generate points #18 DWC-Experienced but if they fall behind it`s not likely they can overcome a big deficit #19 Titans-Got talent but give up way to many points on D #20 Pain-Defense has some players on the line but there O is just the QB a few players away from being a top 10 team #21 Mutiny- Needs to start clicking on Offense to be a threat in the playoffs #22 Chuds- Would like to see them in a diff divsion bc their schedule has been brutal #23 Arsenal- Either look like a legit contender or a cellar dweller..1-4 but we shall see what team starts to show #24-Banditos- Qb is good at times but cant hit anything at times as well if hes on they will be competitive #25 United- Defense is decent, offense really doesnt help them out much if they start clicking they could make B
That`s it for the first release of the BCS Standings...The first 16 are my choices now for the A playoffs with the rest fighting for position in B....Your Thoughts

As I see it here are the bottom 3 from A are: 1# I of the Liger -will be the worst seed going down and will get smoked by a higher seeded C team 2# Outlaws-Will make it competitive but I don`t see them winning C 3# Penetrators- I see them as just missing B and going down to take home the C trophy

I don`t see anyone except penetrators making noise in C, there is some talent in C this season

C is lucky the top three last season moved up: Hokies, NTAC, or Penetrators would be tearing it up this season. This C league is quite weak..

Penetrators
May 05, 2008 3:18 PM | | ; |
are horrible. The top 6 C teams will smoke them

What`s wrong with United this season? They usually in the top 15.

They shouldn`t even be in the top 25. I think they are the most unathletic team in the open division.
| |
|
nope
May 05, 2008 3:22 PM | | ; |
Penetrators are playing Outlaws so they wont both be in the bottom 3. Prolly one of them and platinum.

Lazy is ahead of the sharks purely based on this season, Lazy has only given up 6 points. This is the first one I put up and will change week to week. Please keep throwing in your input so this can become quite accurate.
P.S. Good call on Platinum over penetrators for the last spot in C.

Rhino #33

Sharks & Wolves are #1-2 period. They currently hold all 4 IFFL/FFX titles in addition to stellar records since 07 (League Play : Sharks 33-4 / Wolves 22-2). Untill someone other than these 2 wins a title...it`s a no brainer!

Swap Lazy and Sharks, but not Lazy and Wolves. Check last fall playoffs results for more information on that ranking.

swap that!

Wolves are in a weak division and havent really been tested this season (even though Pain had a chance to pull off an upset in Week 2). We will see if they are worthy of all the hype when they face the Rhinos next week
| |
|
hmm
May 06, 2008 1:15 PM | | ; |
Wolves will win by 14pts...Rhinos barely beat United.

I love how someone thinks outcast and diesel are flukes. Doesnt matter if they play weaker teams or harder teams. Results are results. If you got an easy schedule, it will definitely show in the playoffs. Then you`ll really see what teams are flukes and what teams aren`t. I`m guessing either you got beat by outcast or diesel - or you are hatin on them cause your team isn`t undefeated.
| |
|
True
May 06, 2008 2:15 PM | | ; |
Has any of the undefeated teams played anyone , yet ? Look at Lazy and the Wolves - they have racked up points to get the top seeds , but do you think they would have that many points if they played some other top teams. No - disrespect , but they did what they are supposed to do , just as all of the other undefeated teams have done- win the games you are supposed to win. That does not sound like a fluke.Sounds like they are getting the job done.

people are "hatin" on diesel becuase they talk to much trash on these message boards. They set up threads for the sole reason of being to share things about their own team. they are a good team, no doubt. they just need to cut out posts that are clearly by them pretending not to be.
| |
|
Okay
May 06, 2008 3:32 PM | | ; |
I`ll buy that one, Diesel seems to love the spotlight and are pushing their egos with the emails. But no one has heard from Outcast in a long time.
| |
|
ahh...
May 06, 2008 3:36 PM | | ; |
They are the.. "let`s post something, so people will start to talk about us" .. type team. Interesting! Usually top tier teams dont say crap on the messageboard except to praise what their opponents did right against them. I haven`t really heard anything from diesel on here except for everyone hatin on Andy ??? so i guess its up to these guys to let their game do the talkin. Lets see what happens this week vs mac daddies.

I`m not sure if you were watching the same game. I think the players from Rhinos would disagree with you.

Wolves
May 06, 2008 4:55 PM | | ; |
Not that I usually try to give too much respect to any individual teams but don`t sleep on Rhinos. They played undermanned against United and the score wasn`t as close as the scoreboard. We`ll be ready for them this year as there will be NO REPEAT of last season.
| |
|
uh
May 06, 2008 5:43 PM | | ; |
Doubt that was a Wolves player.

.....
May 06, 2008 5:55 PM | | ; |
The Rhinos won 7-0 against United, who had one sub. Rhinos had 4-5 subs...sorry, but that`s not undermanned. United had a chance to score with a minute left, at the Rhinos 10 yard line. I would say the game was close!

Rhinos

I am not going to make excuses or apologize for our win against United. They are a good team and they played us tough.
We have tough games coming up against Larrys, Wolves, Pain and Banditos, so we will soon see how good we really are.
