omg are you serious? first of all Jumbo Elliot never played center a day in his life, and center in flag football isn`t exactly the toughest job in the world. who`s got the best waterboy in A? Novice?

Are you serious? I don`t center but I know they have one of the toughest jobs on the field. They have to long snap and then stop someone from rushing up the middle like my big a8s. If they don`t succeed in what they do, the play is dead period. That`s why they say if you want your kid to be in NFL teach him how to be a long snapper. It`s equivilent to a catcher in baseball.

Not to mention a lot of teams ask their center to go out and catch passes underneath as well. Very important position, especially the long snapping. A skipped snap is a dead ball at the spot it hit the ground, an automatic sack basically. Unlike regular football where the QB could try to scoop it up and make a play.

No sacks, and the team as a whole has only given up one fat sack in three games.

Charles is your center right? He skips the ball back at least once a game, and I don`t remember him being much of a pass catching threat. The center needs to be an all-around do it all type of player.
