I`d like this question to be answered by some Chuck Norris players if they will say anything about it. I mean come on fellas i know you all wanna win a C championship, but after the last few years i don`t think it`s gonna happen. I truly believe that! You guys started off good this past fall and blew it again in the playoffs and you will again it`s just whats gonna happen it always does. Sorry to say you guys just suck, i noticed that all the new C teams every year seem to be getting worse. When i played in the C we had some good teams and they are doing good in the A and B now.

I can agree with the question asked, Playing the worst teams in the league each season is no way to get better. But think about it. Ex C leaguer, you know that if CN had moved up to B your thread would be how they should go back to C. So actually they are right where they belong. How they keep fielding a team is amazing! I`ve seen church teams give up after 2 seasons.

Not sure man. This is my first year on the team and my first year on CN. This is not the same CN team as years past. We may have the same name but I think over 60% of the team is new. Would it make you feel better if we changed our name, since we have new players? Most of us have never played flag before so we`ll be here for a good while. Get used to it. I appreciate your concern though.

What an interesting question. Often times I`ll look at myself in the mirror and ask, "How can you keep playing in C league year after year? Aren`t you better than that?"
Well, obviously I`m not. I enjoy playing flag football, and in my past seasons I`ve had fun, even while losing more than winning. Like most teams, we`ve had some serious roster turnover since our inception. Out of 18 players on this season`s roster, 4 remain from the very first one. We have 7 new players for this season, and already we`ve played 3 quarterbacks this season. Consistency is not our strong suit.
To answer your question, we are playing in the C league because we`re not good enough to play in the open league. I think our failure to win a playoff game should justify that argument.
Do I want this team to improve? Of course I do. But I also don`t want to be like the Southside Greys, who stepped up last year and got smoked week after week. I think we have some good talent, and we obviously have players who aren`t afraid to talk or identify themselves to everyone else. I honestly think we have a shot to win the C league this season. After the playoffs end, we hopefully to enter the Bark Bowl and make some noise then. If not, we`ll step up next season and see how we`ll do. I can guarantee that we`ll still have fun, and we`ll do our best to be competitive. In the meantime, everyone will just have to realize that Chuck Norris is still in the C league. There are, in case you haven`t noticed, far greater tragedies in the world.
And there`s no need to apologize. Unless you would like to apologize for being just another anonymous blogger who has nothing better to do than put down other people in an attempt to make yourself feel better.

I wasn`t even trying to stir up trouble. I was actually giving you props for the way you carry yourself and the your team, unlike Fireman. He`s the reason you`re team has been hated on. I guess people just carry themselves and win in different ways.

I Agree with #9 that they want to win the C league before stepping up. Our team thought about moving up this spring. We feel we have proved nothing if we moved up to open league. Sure, we would get to play on nicer fields but we want to win the C league to prove to ourselves that we are getting better. There are a select group of guys on our team that could be decent players in the open league but we as a whole unit would like to play with each other to build chemistry and learn to win together before we take that next step. We want to be able to play together for the next couple years. Every team starts somewhere and this is where we have to start to try and become a good team. Good Luck to every team out there whether your in Open or Novice.

wow is right that some of CN`s players give you guys a bad name. one incident comes to mind when a player last fall had an altercation with a ref during the WP game. and personally, a week or 2 after our team had beaten CN i remember warming up for a game and watching CN play cause it was entertaining, a CN player caught a TD and gave us the worst stare down like he was out to get us, common, we`re just watching ur game and warming up, there was no need for that, leave your competitive feelings towards teams u play on the field.
Neways, ppl will tend to remember your team for little retarded things like that, rather than being a team that`s out there to have fun if that type of behavior keeps happening.

Chuck Norris won`t win anything but the regular season this year. The way the playoffs is set up expect some team that didn`t make the B playoffs like Off in The Showers or The Chuds to win the Novice chamipionship this year. So Chuck Norris will not be forced to move up next year and can continue their dominance in the Novice division. Good job fellas.
