IM NOT GONNA LIE BUT AT THE START OF OUR GAME AGAINST PS THEY DID. IT DID WORK THEY SCORED ON THE OPENING POS. THAT ELIMINATED OUR PASS RUSH SO WE WENT 2 AN OUTSIDE CONTAIN. I DONT KNOW WHY THEY WENT AWAY FROM IT LATER IN THE GAME BUT IT DID WORK IF YOU HAVE THE PERSONEL FOR IT.

don`t fix it. If your offensive game plan was working why would you change it? I didn`t see the game so I`m kind of asking these question blindly. Did CN take the spread away from PS? If not why would you want to look at other plays? That`s what scrimmages and practices is for. Sounds like you lost due to poor coaching/ game management.

Spread is nice, If your not sure how it works, spend sometime watching the vet A teams. Anyone of them with a A trophy run it very well.

They didn`t totally abandon the misdirection runs/reverses or spread. We made adjustments and pulled flags better.

They did score on their first drive in like 5 plays though. They had 2 20+ yard runs where we missed easy pulls. They have a couple shifty guys.

Sometimes flags just get away from you...It sucks seeing the flag dangling and you`re so sure you`ll pull it but somehow miss it.

There is a Maryland team that runs the spread offense to perfection. They have averaged 35 points a game or so since they`ve started using it. You need to have the personnel to run it. I saw the game last fall between the Wolfpack and Chuck Norris in which the Wolfpack were using it. It keeps defense honet and on their toes. Chuck Norris could not get any sacks against the Wolfpack. Their own variation was a Gator spread. They used multiple WR`s as extra quarterbacks. If you dont have the personnel you should not use it.

I`m not sure why PS didn`t rush #5 the whole game. That dude is big and fast. He pancaked me and i landed with all of my weight on my right A$$cheek and it still hurts.
