I can see why someone would want to sew the pockets together. I went to SIX different stores to try and find shorts without pockets. The majority of bball/football shorts have pockets. Unless i wanted some nut hugging umbros, or running shorts they all had pockets. I eventually found some regular mesh ones without pockets at modells for like $10, so if people are still looking theres an option.

underarmour has shorts without pockets. Dicks has them for $24.

You can go to just about any sporting goods store and find Nike mesh shorts that don`t have pockets. $24-$25 too. Many colors to choose from.

yeah true, the lightweight UA shorts have ripped on me before. i couldn`t find any nikes without pockets though.
