you might see the C league as weak overall, but there are plenty of individuals who could dominate your little A&B league. think of a C league all-star team...i`d have my money on them vs. any A or B squad there is. weak.
no reason to hate on C. it is what it is. a beginners league.

C league serves two purposes.. First year teams, and less talented teams that need to play teams of equal skill. C league "all star" team would win many games open (35 teams), but would not win over any of the top 15-20 teams. There are other variables involved like experience, team chemestry, Improv, reading formations...etc. Like dietz guy, I also played in C for 1 spring, and was lucky that an open team picked me up. I have learned there system and now enjoy a much stiffer competition level, and have made the A playoffs a couple years in a row now.... To C: Maybe if you focused more on teamwork rather than the individual your team could move up!!!!!

who cares

I`m sure the original post meant nothing by it. I`m in C, and could really care less if A and B see our division as weaker. It`s called novice for a reason. Don`t get so sensitive about what people say. At the end of the day, football is football.

Just look at the pic of last years Spring Champs, A is definitely not too far ahead of the C!

Every year we have to hear about how C can compete with A *AND* every year the C teams who move up get crushed. This springs latest examples.
Top 4 C teams from the fall
Hokies 0-1 Lost 35-0 Penetrators 0-1 Lost 18-0 NTAC (aka Shower) 0-1 Lost 17-0 Wolfpack Didn`t even move up
See the trend

My team is in the C league. We looking to get our team chemistry together to be able to compete at the next level. Yes, we are weak but you have walk before you can run. So that`s what we are doing so we can compete with the A & B league if we can come together as a team.

I think it is amazing you can see a team`s talent just by looking at a picture. So I guess those Wolves are just a bunch of slow, lucky white boys. If you believe that, you have got another this coming. You team has obviously never seen/played them. Save your crying and trash talking for the little people.

We won the C and thought we were badass.
Moved into open the following season and didn`t win a single game.
Two of season later, we won B. This season we just hope to prove we can contend with A level teams.
It takes time to develope as a team.
I wish all you C leaguers(sp?) best of luck. We all have to start somewhere.

I have played in both leagues. I agree there is a lot of individual telent in the C league but, to compete in the Open and more specifically A you have to have team talent and chemistry. Most of the teams in Open have been playing together for 5,6 + seasons. I thought I could put together a first year team and compete at the Open level last fall. Boy was I wrong. We had some very talented players that could`ve played and contributed on an established team but, as a new team we were not ready to play in Open. It was a tough season to say the least. We regrouped and decided to develope in the C league. So far we have done well this season and we plan on moving up to Open when we are ready. Use the C league for what is. A place for teams to get chemistry and develope and not for individuals to make a name for themselvs.

Like someone stated earlier A,B, or C at the end of the day its football but just at different playing levels. Then again the bottom 3 open teams will eventually be in the C league playoffs.

ITS NOT ABOUT THE LEVEL OF PLAY. IT ALL HAS 2 DO WITH TEAM CHEMISTRY AND TEAM SPEED, WITH THAT U CAN COMPETE WITH ANYONE AT ANY LEVEL. I KNOW IM PLAYING ON THE SO CALLED WEAK "C" LEAGUE BECAUSE IM USING IT 2 GET BACK INTO PLAYING SHAPE, AND EVENTUALLY ILL MOVE UP AFTER WE WIN THE DAMN THING THIS YEAR. THERE ARE PEOPLE IN THIS NOVISE LEAGUE THAT CAN BALL.
