From what I saw yesterday the Midgets and PSquad look to be the favorites at this point. Great game. Two solid QB`s and solid supporting casts.

Midgets and PSquad game was a crazy ass game. The sideline had a bunch of onlookers watching it. Wish it was on a better field though; would`ve made the game nicer.

midgets and psquad were neck and neck, midgets got really hyped after their first td, funny how their celebration quickly died after psquad scored on their very first play, it went back and forth, it looked as though psquad was going to take when their wide open receivers touched the ball but ended up dropping it, psquad got the point advantage but midgets made their last play count and was able to get the last td, good game from both teams, IMHO, psquad looked the better team

I was watching the i think it was Team America(camo shirts) and USIS game. Team America won, but they did not look that great. USIS got screwed with a bunch of calls. Team America`s defense is horrible and the two stops they had were only because the refs made bad calls. USIS had some big boys, one guy looked 6`6, i cant believe they just didnt throw it to him every play!

Wolfpack murdered DW, athletism played too huge of a role here. WP had a solid offense and relentless defense. DW looks to be the poorest team in the Novice now.
QH has a strong squad, Team cactus as well, both had some rough times during the game, but they both look solid. QH has an advantage though. Game won by a TD.
Chuck Norris vs. Prowlers, from the way prowlers was playing, CN shoulda took the advantage but came out with a one score win. Not much of an interesting game, fireman didnt look like he should be talking all that smack though, hes no Ray Ray.
By far the best game of the day was Midgets vs. Psquad. Exciting game, it came down to the last minute. Look out for both of these teams in the post season.
It was too early to watch the 8:20 games, anyone watch the Collision and the WTF game? USIS and Team America?

Obviously you didn`t watch the CN game so I`ll recap it for you.
Yes, it`s true. They used a 5 man line and/or a RB to block our 2 D-linemen. We dropped a pass in the endzone, missed a field goal, and had a ball intercepted in the endzone. Thats 17 possible points. Yes we won 7-0, but it could have easily been 24-0.
It`s nobodys fault but our own for not coming away with more points, I`m just saying it`s not like the game was a nailbiter or anything.

Hello folks! I know I normally do basketball talk but I`m going to put my two cents in on this Chuck Norris phenomenon or lack there of. Sure they may be 2-0 right now but dating back to last spring, this team started out 3-0-2. Their offense averaged 20.4 points in the first 5 games. They beat Off in the Shower and The Penetrators who are now in the open league. Also tied Quality Hibachi in the first game of the year 7-7. ALso Tied Southside Grays who are now in the open league. They finished the season losing two in a row to Storm and then the Shockers then finally losing in the 1st round to the Southside Grays. So even if you are 2-0 right now Chuck Norris, it doesn`t mean a damn thing. It`s not how you start, its how you finish. Last fall was a disaster for your team. So I`m not even getting into that. All in all, you need to tell your team mates that get on this messageboard to stop all their trash talking because you have not proved anything yet. All you have to show for your team in the last 4 seasons is a 9-13-4 record not counting this year. Again, you are 2-0. You have beaten a young wolfpack squad and a prowlers squad that is rebuilding its team. Until you finally move up to the open league, tell your posterboys to quiet down and just play football.

FYI, Chuck dropped 2 to IRREVERENCE, not STORM. They are two different teams. If it was the same team they would have moved up and kept the same name.

You are really hurting your team though coming on the boards talking like the immature squirrel you are. What Stephen is saying is, keep your mouth shut and let your team prove itself on the field. Infact, if you and DFA didnt come on the boards at all this season, your team would be far more respected for accomplishing the 2-0 standings. Chill man, people will know who you are when you show them on the fields, but they will just laugh at you here.
CN has a good squad, but you are hurting their image. I can understand being humble is your problem and you love to stir up a fight on the boards, but stop being selfish and think about your team for once. I am pretty sure half the team doesnt like the way you are representing them.

You must be retarded or blind to believe that Fireman or yourself is not hurting your team going on the message boards like this.
I am not saying you guys are bad players, you both are great, we`ve seen you guys in action, but there are some posts which are gear towards friendly smack talking, and some which you guys actually stoop down to a 3rd grade level maturity.
We get it, you guys made your point across about how "awesome" you are. Sure you have the best defense in the league right now, and Collision is only 3 points away from you guys, and since football has alot of variables in it, and at the same time unpredictable at times, what if later down the road your team has a bad day and gets sh!tted on?
You guys are gambling right now, "if" your team gets hurt bad later in the season, you will make your team look bad, everyone will just look back at how silly you two behave on the boards this early in the season.
I`m not trying to attack you guys, just trying to help your team out and giving you a few basic advice. If your team is doing good, stay humble, because you wont lose respect from your team, or other teams. If you come on here acting like your the **** every dam day, it will bite you in the ass.
And fireman, saw you limping on the side lines , hope you heal up so we can see you at 100% this Sunday.

I want to see a post where I was "behaving silly". From day 1 I`ve said I just want to have a little extra fun besides Sundays. And of course no one is going to post numbers/teams. That would just make it too fun and interesting. It`s wayyy better sitting at your computer making comments so know one knows who you are or what you do out on the field.
And as I`ve said time and time again, anyone who "loses respect" for us or thinks we`re bad guys is taking this all the wrong way. One of you little Sallys or Susans got all bent out of shape and it snowballed into everyone thinking we`re out to cause trouble. Try to see it in a different light and have a little fun.

To the team members of Chuck Norris that have not been saying anything on these messageboards, I apologize for the bad PR you guys have been getting lately. Fireman and DFA, you guys are certainly right. Trash talk is certainly apart of this great sport we call football. Football is an emotional sport. You can talk all you want.. BUT DURING THE GAME. I dont care if this is your first year or your 5th year playing flag football. The best teams in the open leagues have mutual respect for each other and nobody throws anyone else under the bus. They Win and Lose with class. Good Sportsmanship is the what they call it. You can tell us you started this for fun. Thats fine and all but you have to see that not everyone else see`s it that way. Chuck Norris used to be a team that comes to play on sundays and not a team that talks and talks. And as I was saying earlier, The reason why your 2-0 doesnt mean SQUAT, is because 1. Its not how you start, its how you finish. 2. Regular season virtually does not matter. You guys can go 8-0 and talk all the trash that you want on these messageboards and then make it to the championship game and lose like the Patriots did. In the end, you get to move up to the open. Bottom line is to win the whole thing. So dont talk it, do it.

I want to chime in as well and say that the Chuck Norris team I know, as well as Wolf Pack are both fun teams to play and talk with. I`ve avoided these trash talk discussions lately as every time I get involved, someone wants to make it about my family, but I wanted to say this:
I firmly believe that CN has a great defensive line, and I know that every member of our offensive line is drooling for the chance to match up against you, because we believe we will stack up well against you.
But of course, one game at a time. Desktop this week, but we`ll definitely be excited for the 4th week of the season ;)

Yeah Charles is a good guy, he don`t back down from nothin. We all love contact as well. Most of us first timers were disappointed to find out there was no downfield contact allowed :(

Hey DFA,
I`ll definitely brush up on the pass-pro drills, just remember what the smart football player`s position is. ;) And I agree Fireman, I`ll catch a pass if it`s what my coach asks me to do, but I love the trench battles more than any other aspect of the game, and oh yeah. I wore pads for a couple years too, but that doesn`t always translate to much in flag. The fundamentals still need to be there, and that`s where that plays a huge role.

Yeah he`s one of our QBs and he`s out 1 more game I think. Pretty stupid considering it wasn`t a big deal but it is what it is. Lots of guys around the league have man-crushes on his QB abilities. We should be good to go once we get back to full strength.
