so what`s the official rules on the shorts?
no stripes on shorts or do the flags have to contrast the colors on the shorts?

The flags have to be a different color from the stripes. So if you`re wearing black shorts with a white stripe, you can`t wear white flags.

I think it depends on the ref. Some say NO stripes some say they have to be a different color than the flags.

Flags must contrast with stripe color. We do not disallow stripes on shorts.
