Looks like us tax payers may have some more fields to use, so next time teams wont get rejected due to lack of field space. The 80 teams that normaly make up Nova Soccer league are now down to 45 teams because of the immigration crack down, WTOP reports. This tells me that a super high percentage of the players in that league are not even legal... And in many cases these teams are given higher priorety and obviously more game slots, while we have to tell teams they cant play. Maybe now ffx will relize they have been depriving legal citizens of field space unjustly...

That`s interesting. Spring is soccer priority, in the Fall football has more priority (as evidenced by the amount of space weeknight league gets + Sunday fields - Pop Tree). Our allocation this Spring hasn`t changed from last year except for Braddock Park - which I do not think is finished yet (getting turfed). We got Lake Fairfax instead.

You may not see the change until next year... Im sure the soccer league requested field space for 80 teams like normal. It was not until this week when they relized they had 45% less teams. Too late now for the rest of us. maybe they should have cracked down on illegals before registration. Anyway, we still have one os the best leagues in the area...
