Playmakers won the toss and received the opening kickoff. Their first drive stalled around midfield when Novas picked off an errant pass. Novas scored on their first possession with catch and lateral that was run in from about 20 yards out (Novas 7-0). The Playmakers next possession resulted in another INT, this time for a touchback. Novas drove the ball inside the Playmakers 10, but the drive stalled due to good D by the Playmakers (Novas 7-0 at half). Novas took the 2nd have KO and used ball control to consume the clock. Novas scored on a short crossing pattern that was run in from about 25 yards (Novas 14-0). On the next series, the Playmakers went no-huddle. A long bomb resulted in a quick score around the 10 minute mark, but it was called back due to offense holding. Playmakers stayed with the no huddle and scored with about 7 minutes left (Novas 14-7). Novas started their final drive at their own 40. They drove inside the Playmakers 20 where they kicked a FG with less than a minute left (Novas 17-7). Good game Playmakers!
