So now that day 1 is complete would you say that there were major upsets, or that the better teams won? From my point of view a 12 seed beating a 5 seed isn`t an upset if the 12 seed is a better team. That was the case today. However, a 16 beating a number 1???? Were the Chickens lucky or were the Playmakers overrated and benefited from a weaker schedule? Perhaps injuries played a roll?

I did not see the Playmaker game but I did watch Nova`s and Redskins, Nova`s were missing a few players but handled there business as expected as for the Redskins, all and all nice guys, young not very well organized but let these boys get some experience and organized and there going to be good, very athletic with lots of speed, Good luck Nova`s from what I heard they will have a few more of there men suiting up next week

All the upsets just show how close in playing ability level most of the teams are in this league. The seedings mean less than you think.

As for the Chickens/Playmakers game - Playmakers did miss an extra point kick, so if you want to call that luck, ok. But these games are short. With the running clock, you can`t make too many mistakes. Playmakers had two turnovers, one of them late in the game when they had a good drive going. They were obviously a fast and very physical team, and I can see why they were 6-0, so I don`t think they were overrated either.

No surprise on the Larrys, Canes, Rhinos and Novas winning they are all teams that do well in the playoffs.MAc D`s won a game they should have too but I doubt they beat the Rhinos next week.

Lions out again in round 1 also a no surprise and the surprise will be if Lions even have a team after this.

Playmakers can now be called another team that chokes in the playoffs but the Fighting C`s are also better than most people think and the next game against Scrubs will be interesting.

Congrats to all of the winners today. Got to love those veteran-laden teams. They seem to understand that the real season started today and were not hung up on the regular season success of many other teams. The next round of A games will be very interesting.

Great game Novas! Good luck w/rest of the playoffs. Your QB and running back had a great game.
