The game behind us was pushed back to 10 because of some scheduling issues with other teams. So since it was an exhibition game and we had the extra time, Tom allowed us to play OT.

This game was awesome! Both teams played very well, and like I said the badboyz would win. I predicted 19-14, and the final was 21-14. The Rhinos definatley get a man-up award because they were right there with the idea of OT.

Rhinos controlled the first half od the game 7-0. On the second half rhinos opened up 3 and out.

Badboyz scored on their next drive but missed the extra point.

rhinos next drive resulted in a punt.

Badboyz scored again on their second drive of the half. This time however they converted a 2 pt pass. Score 14-7

Rhinos had the ball with very little time left...and 4th and 5..They completed a nice 25 yd pass to set them up for scoring opportunity. Tie game 14-14.

BadBoyz win overtime coin toss. Badboyz get 17 yds on first down. End up scoring on 3rd down and converting extra pt. Score 21-14

Rhinos had the ball at the 20, offense just couldnt get it in.

Great game, good preview of the playoffs.

End Result Badboyz win 21-14

To #20, the OL guy told me you said thanks for the parking pass. Good looking out I asked my Boyz to do thier Jacking over in Braddock today!

It was good that both teams were able to play! It was a Great game but w/ these exceptions for the MD league due to extra time and other benie`s!

There shouldn`t have been any overtime for any team due to the RULES! If we make exceptions for 1 or 2 teams, it should go for everyone!

And the RULES are what we go by!! Isn`t it TRUE!

There has been other close games in the league that time restraints were some what relax! And the following game was cancelled or a Forfeit by another team! And Overtime could have been given!

I know yesterday was out of Divisional Game but RULES are RULES!!

My opinion!!

The Nuts beat down the Clubhouse squad?!? What`s next?...

The Nuts QB was on fire in the first half... and the Clubhouse never got into a rythm.

There weren`t any alliances or "benies" given to the Bad Boyz. The game and rules were fair and square. The second half of the game, Bad Boyz had complete offensive control and the defense dominated. With the exception of a fluke play that allowed the Rhinos to score, which brought the game into overtime, Bad Boyz moved the ball at will, and the defense barely allowed them to cross the 50 yard line. The second half, the Rhinos punted three times. Furthermore, the Rhinos were the ones who requested the overtime, and Bad Boyz agreed, with the Commish on-hand to let them know that since it was 1) an exhibition game and 2) because of a scheduling issues that the subsequent games were being played at a later time, he allowed it. Of course if this was a in-season game, it would have went down as a tie. Nevertheless, the Rhinos asked and received a lost.

To A True Observer, I don`t know where you got your sources from but they are way off. For one, we didn`t request the OT Tom brought it to our attention after we scored on our "fluke" TD (I don`t know what you were watching.) After we scored the TD the score was 14-13 Bad Boyz. Tom suggested if the Bad Boyz and the refs agreed then we could do OT. Both agreed so we decided to go for the extra point to head into OT if not we were going for the win. The only "fluke" was our TD called back in OT that would have taken it to a double OT.

Had that momentum going all the way down the field on the drive and believe we would have done the 2 pointer and win the game except we went to OT for a favor to Badboyz.

I saw U-22 was playing QB against VN. He looks good. What happened to U-9? Looks like they have a qb controversy.

To Rhino92,

Cmon man, there was no controversy. The TD wasnt called back. It was thrown 12 inches to short and your man did a great job trying to getr his hands under it before it hit the ground. refs ruled it a incomplete pass thats all.

I also agree your 2nd TD was no fluke. QB scrambled and made a good play.

I was fortunate enough to be allowed to start at QB this week. Trust me its only for emergency situations and practice. We have an excellent QB in Chrong (#9) and he needed some rest this week due to an active season for him which includes softball as well. We will be ready this upcoming week, and wish Lazy the best of luck. Lets have a safe game.

You`re right there was no controversy. The ref made the call. He was behind the receiver so I don`t see how he could have seen whether that was a catch or not. I look at it as home field call. You were supposed to get that call. If we were playing at Hook, I would hope that we get that call.

I hope it dosnt come down to that...for either team. That is always hard to take. Good luck with your round 1 game...Rhinos Vs Playmakers looks to be a good 2nd round match-up if you both get there. I know some teams hating on us...but we are glad to be apart of this 16 team playoff....its what makes feeling sore monday is about...compettitive(sp?) games. I hope all 4 undefeated teams make it to the final 4...that will be some good football

I can`t believe the Whinos, i mean Rhinos are saying this. I spoke to your wide-out - personally - after the game, when he was helping out a Maryland team - the Nuts - and he said that he felt he caught the ball but that it did touch the ground. ANY referee - IFFL, NFL, AFL, CBA, NCAA - would have made the same call. When half the ball is touching the ground, it would be ruled incomplete, even on the instant replay. If you guys so-called had the momentum on your side, you would have went for two and shut the Bad Boyz up for the season - right? That`s what Bad Boyz would have done, and ultimately did to you!! Everytime some team loses, they ALWAYS seem to blame the REFS...that`s just being a ***** and not a sport - champ!! Let it go!! You lost!!

Bad Boyz always seem to play better in MD playing with their unspeakably incompetent home-field refs. Thankfully the commissioner was there to prevent the refs from giving the Bad Boyz the ball after halftime. Those refs should be prevented from ever covering another IFFL game.

It takes away from the talent on the field to have know nothings referee a game between two 6-0 teams.

I had those same refs before, and I think they`re ok. Like all refs, they will make mistakes. But they will let you play more physical than most refs in Va.

Actually the refs were right about trying to give badboyz the ball at halftime. The real rules state that when the rhinos won the opening coin toss they chose to kickoff which did not give badboyz the option to kick or recieve to open the game . They did not say defer to the second half so that gives badboyz the choice to kick or recieve to open the second half. Thats how the rules are everywhere except the iffl so anyone that knows football would know what i am talking about. The iffl likes to make up their own rules for example you can keep throwing forward passes as long as you are behing the line of scrimmage. Where did they get that from?

You play in the IFFL, so follow IFFL`s rule. That`s why none of the MD teams will win once they come to VA. They be penalized every other play. Especially the Playmakers, they`ll get tossed from games for some the stunts they pulled.

Badboyz will beat them VA games with IFFL, NFL, NCAA, High School, whatever rules there are. It doesn`t matter. Badboyz adapt and kickass. Thats all.

Actually, the refs got it wrong about trying to give the Bad Boyz the ball after halftime as we play in the IFFL so we follow IFFL rules. Luckily, the commish was there to straighten things out and ultimately it had no impact on the outcome of the game.

The MD refs were pretty good...plus we got 4 instead of just 3. The only problem was when someone from Rhinos mouthed off to one of them and he threw a fit. He kept saying that was the last time he would do Tom a favor by playing overtime. Actually it was Tom doing them a favor because they had never refed the iffl overtime format. He didn`t want to have them botch ot in the playoffs like they almost did the second half kickoff.
