Are we allowed to serve a suspension for a game on a week when the game is postponed ? We thought you served the next played game and not the week.I see some severe problems with this and when you add to the situations over the past years with Lazy getting favoritism, I see the league become very one sided.Rules are being added/changed at the time when it is convenient ( meaning on the field at the time of the incident) instead of when it should be announced so all teams will know, but Rob is the commish , so it probably won`t change.

Currently, players are only suspended an additional game if the officials advise the league that the player must serve an additional game. It`s not automatic, and has not been since the Spring of 2006.
Rob is one of the commissioners, and for that reason his team is under a microscope every week. He understands this, and he understands that his team is not entitled to any special privileges.
The communication method I prefer for addressing issues like this is through the league contact link, not misinformed messageboard posts.

Tom, this is not a personal attack so please don`t take it as one. For the most part this league is run very effectively. The problem is some things that are done in regards to Lazy just "don`t seem right".
How would a team know when a player has been "suspended an additionial game"? Are teams coaches advised of this or the very least the apposing team the next week. It seems having it posted here or at least discussed here would clear that up. Nobody has anything to hide so let us find out who is suspended. This also lets everyone feel that they are treated the same. Cause what if a member on my team or anybody else team gets an additional game suspension and it was for the same offense as lets say someone on Lazy`s team but they only get tossed out of the game.

This sounds like a personal attack, because you still have questions. As I stated in a different response, I would love for anyone to talk with me on how Lazy Sundae gets any favors or is treated differently. The only way that Lazy is treated differently, is being scrutinized under a microscope every single week. No other team in this league is scrutinized as much as my family. I don`t feel that is fair either.

Yet you still have questions and feel the need to continue this discussion on the msg board. I will clear it up for you. For years there has been a misunderstanding that if a person is ejected, it is an "AUTOMATIC SUSPENSION FOR THE NEXT GAME". The Officials provide documentation to the league and Commissioner/s contact the coach of the team the suspended player is on, makes the coach aware of how many games, 1-2-etc. The games have to be playable games, RAINOUTS do not count. Those of you who have had a player suspended know of this.
All of us, commissioners and officials included have all been doing this for several years and usually notice when a team does not abide by the process in place. I think there has only been one incident in the past 12-13 years and the head of officials caught the player. That was no fault of the coach, the player played in another game on another team.

That is all and good , but we are a family over here in VA.We might bicker and fight , but that is what families do.In the end we all come together and enjoy seeing each other every spring and fall, so thanks , but no thanks.I like my family just fine.
