Who are the top teams and what makes them good?
What is it about Pain that makes them so unstopable this season?
What is it about Legacy that makes them think they are the best new team on the block?
What is it about Frontline that they have fans talking about how badass they are?
What is unique about Clubhouse, Diesel, Green Machine, Whos Next, and the Legends

Legends have crazy speed on receivers. If you don`t believe me try putting your CB man to man on one of their wide outs, you will get burn.

They only look fast because you and your team are so slow.

Pain has great defense. Defense wins game and that’s why they are undefeated. Offence is good enough to put points on the board when they need to. Overall they play smart football.
Legacy has a mobile QB. They win because of him. Stop him from running and make him play his passing game. That is where they are weak at. Their D is one of the best on the Novice division. They have a lot of big players that can wear you down.
Clubhouse is a fast team. This I believe is their second season out as a team so they have that to their advantage. Their defense is mediocre. Teams can score on them.
Frontline has a fast offence. They are well organized and know how to play the game of flag football. Their defense only allowed 36 points this season. However they played 4 weak team and Clubhouse. Their toughest game was someone outside their division and lost.
Diesels is a well rounded team. Their offence can move the ball but can make a lot of mental errors in the red zone. Watch out for the double passes and pitches. Their defense is one of the better defenses in the Novice division. They shut out 4 teams this season.
Legends is really inconsistent. Their QB is slow and easy to rattle. They can put points on the board but only on a good day. They have very good bull rushers on their D line.
Whos Next has about 1 or 2 good players. Keep an eye on them and you will be ok. They have a very lazy defense. That’s probably why they have the record they have now.
Green Machine I would say is the weakest team lasting in the playoff. Very unorganized and very inconsistent. I believe they only played half their season, the other half was lost due to forfeits.

Scoops right.

Good stuff. Seems pretty accurate to me. No offense to the others but I say watch out for Pain, Legacy, and Frontline.
Frontline`s QB is as good as they come in this league. Legacy is physical but scoop was dead on about their offense going through one player. Pain`s line offense and defense will eat you up forcing you to make bad plays on O and protects their avg QB on D. They can be beaten, they just haven`t been yet.

Legends` QB - yes i am slow but to say that im easily rattled hehehe...you know me not. do you know how often ive gotten my team to the red zone, 90 to 95% of the time; how many qbs in the C league can you say that about. yes i havent done the job im suppose to in the red zone; ive been victimized by my own mistakes and dropped passes.

No offense Legends QB, but to me you are a below average QB. No I do not know you personaly but I have watched you play. I have seen everyone played atleast twice this season and everytime I`ve seen you play, you have made big time errors. Frontline`s and Diesels QB are the better QBs in this C league. Legacy`s Qb is good because he is smart with the ball and will run with it when he needs to move the chain.

What do the receivers look like for C leaguers? Anybody from the weaker division that can score? Or should we expect to shut them down?

Good information scoop. Now who will make it to the final 4?
| |
|
What I saw was...
Jun 08, 2006 4:27 PM | | ; |
Pain - smothering D, consistent O.
Legacy - picks up 15-20 yards a play on O, feeds off mistakes on D.
Frontline - deep passing game, great pass rush.
Clubhouse - athletic QB, disciplined zone D.
Diesel - stylish O and physical, tough D.
Green Machine - Good short passing game but too slow on D.
Whos Next - O has tough time with good defenses, but they have a playmaker at WR.
Legends - underrated QB and quick WR. No D.
Final 4 - Diesel, Pain, Legacy and Frontline.

Next step?

Which teams are going to be "we just play for fun, friendship>>winning" and which are going to be "ruthless talent hoarders, winning>>friendship??"
if you get lucky, you can be both (option and church raiders of years gone by)...but most teams fall into one category or another.
Good luck to you all!!!

First of all you should never call out your teamates, saying that they drop passes, I`ve see you play, and you play sandlot football, not real FB. Legacy won`t last past this season, all they do is argue with each other. Good players on legacy look for another "TEAM". Except toby, you suck, you need to stay on legacy.

What makes a top team. A top team is a proven winner in A. That is a winner.

Hey Top Team

Eat a d***. Everyone has to start somewhere. Why do you feel the need to come to this thread and **** on it. Give it some time. Some of us will be in A kickin` your sorry a**. You almost sound scared.
| |
|
Thats why
Jun 09, 2006 2:21 PM | | ; |
...no one leaves their name, has civil conversations, etc. b/c some d*** in "A" will always just beat their chest as if being on a flag team that has been around a while somehow makes you smarter/better/etc. than the new teams.
If you dont play for the Sharks, or My Plumber of the glory days, zip it/no one cares.
And even if you do, let people enjoy themselves/its just a game. If you have to interject on a flag messageboard to feel better about yourself, time to see the urologist for an implant/flag wont fix what REALLY is ailing you...
