I can barely make half my games and never get to see others play so though I should know more about the #1 ranked team, I don`t. So can anybody give me a little more on them:

offensive style, long ball or short ball? or good mix? dump and run? throw to OLine much? run option much? heavy reliance on one star or mix of players? QB have strong arm and elusive? can he be rattled?

defensive style, bend but don`t break or risk-takers? any vulnerable areas?

Thx

Veteran teams win by not making mistakes, and Lazy is no different -- they rarely make mistakes. It doesn`t hurt that they are loaded with athletes that can actually play football.

To beat them you will need to pull flags like crazy. Deion - small shifty RB (I forget his #), and Yusef (#81 and a board regular) are two of the fastest and most elusive guys in the league and are extremely tough to pull flags on. If they make you miss they are gone. Their other guys are no slouches either. Lazy almost always scores at least 1 TD a game thanks to missed flag pulls and in a game where each point is precious it`s tough to overcome. Their QB is smart with a good arm. He`ll overthrow his receivers rather than risk an INT. He`s also elusive and tough to rattle. Get to him early and pull his flag to put them in 3rd and long siutations. But the best thing you can do to prepare for them is get out early and practice your flag pulls.

On defense, they will blitz the heck out of your QB to try to force a mistake. If you make any mistakes they will probably win because they rarely make turnovers on offense. To counter the tough rush you need to get your QB moving. Hopefully he`s the type that can run for 10+ yards a clip. If not, then you`ll need to try to get it to your best athlete early and slow up that rush. Either that or try double-QB plays (although they cover that well also). If your QB is elusive and can buy some time, Lazy`s zone defense is susceptible to the deep ball. Their athleticism sometimes gets the best of them as their DB`s often get caught looking in the backfield. They get back quickly though so don`t underthrow a wide open receiver on the deep ball. If you do it WILL be picked.

Not sure if this will help you or scare you. Good luck!

Just be thankful you don`t have to play the Yusef from the mid-late 90`s. With his combination of speed (injuries have slowed him recently) and incredible hands it`s amazing we never saw him playing on TV on Sunday afternoons. At the time there was no better receiver in the league and even in his slowed-down state there still may not be.

Lazy QB is built like a fullback and will stiff arm you in a crowd in the pocket if he can get away with it. Make sure you tell the officials to keep an eye on his free hand.

Best bet is to not show up. That way you only lose by 14.

and slow the game down so you have a chance. Dre #33 is fast and shifty. They usually hit him on swing passes out of the backfield. Sef #81 plays wr and a little QB so be careful on wr screens he could throw the double pass. Vons a good QB but not as accurate as sef but has a cannon for an arm and can make all the throws on the run. They usually line up 4 wide on O and sometimes run the option when they put a back next to the QB. In my opinion their best wr is #9 so put your best cover guy on him. Nothing special on D but they are a very smart team that has players that can play multiple positions so they rotate players to keep fresh and bring it every play. Good luck. Oh yeah, if the other dre comes the tall skinny light skin guy bring some earplugs because he talks nonstop. I have to admit he is funny though.

Pull flags! Thanks guys with the exception of "Helper". We will take our chances and show up to play. We have a decent history of challenging and ocassionally upsetting top-ranked teams. Good luck to all this weekend.
