As is the case every Spring, here we go again with the soccer people complaining that we can`t start playing on Baron Cameron until April (when they do).

Even though our permit allows it, the County is reissuing the permit, so we`re moving BC#2 games to Longfellow Middle School in Falls Church. Same game times & match-ups. Directions will be posted soon.

Coaches will be emailed AND called today about the schedule change.

In the meantime, we`re trying to get alternate fields to replace BC#1 and BC#2 for the rest of the Spring so we do not have to deal with this. Those of you who have been around will understand why.

Herndon games remain unchanged for 3/25.

;	The BC fields are in terrible condition year after year. When the ground is wet, it`s unplayable...when it`s dry it`s a dustbowl. When it comes to football, we`ll willingly play anywhere (except Mountain View), but the soccer people have real issues. Was it last spring that they actually kicked us off the fields in the middle of a game? IFFL should just request different fields altogether. The concept of having all league / tournament games at one place is nice, but it`s certainly not worth putting up with those *****es! What about Lawrence Park in Chantilly on Rt 28...lots of soccer games there also but might be a decent bailout and they`re certainly in better shape. Also, if this is an "independent" league, could fields in eastern Loudoun be used (Sterling, Ashburn...Redskins Park!)? It`s only about 5-10 minutes west of where we already play in Reston and Herndon.

;	Keep the fields in Reston as close as possible. If you move them too far out people won`t get there on time, or get there at all.
