"please contact me for further details and to determine if you qualify."
Not all teams accept their bids, and some teams take bids from other leagues which slides bids down a slot.

Can we add players to our team for the tournament or does your team roster remain the same as the regular season!

I think this question was answered in an earlier post. You are allowed to add players to your team for the tourney.

I know some teams play in both Sunday and weeknight leagues and have a few player variations from one team to another, and I know some teams who are taking Spring bids have new players rostered on their Fall teams.
Essentially, as long as the players are "your guys" and have been rostered on team A or B or C somewhere.
What is not acceptable is to put in an "all-star team". If you do that, and someone protests at the State Tournament this commissioner will not cover for you. Play with the guys who got you there.
Its especially important not to hop from one team to another down there. If you do that and you are caught (believe me, someone will tell) its a retroactive forfeit.
If your not sure about a player, or if you think team A rostered him in the Spring, and you rostered him in the Fall etc... CONTACT ME, *link on front page*.

It is NOT LEGAL to ADD PLAYERS to your roster to play in the States. The Team Captain/Coach AND League Commissioner will CERTIFY to that effect on the Official UNIVERSAL Roster. READ THE WAIVER!!!!! We know that players play on more than one team during the year, and if both teams qualify for the States, the player must select which he will play on and scratch his name from the other team`s submitted roster - you may not play on more than one team in the States. In addition, teams MAY NOT PICK UP PLAYERS who did not play on their team during the season - PERIOD! The purpose of the States and our Association is to determine who are the best teams in the state, not who are BEST AT PICKING UP PLAYERS! Too many tournaments are being held in flag that permit "pick ups", which in effect makes them virtually meaningless for determining team talent! We`ve always tried to keep our States above that kind of horse dung, otherwise we might just as well permit one all-star team from each league to determine who has the best "League". I hope we have made our position clear on this. If anyone is in doubt, recommend you contact Bob Jacobs, President, VFFA.
