PAIN/TRUTH 3-0 RECAP
|
|
| FYI... | 09:42 AM |
This was a defensive game. Neither offense looked particularly good. Pain`s d-line and LBs ran a lot of stunts that forced Truth`s QB into 3 or 4 first half INTs.
Pain`s offense couldn`t capitalize on the turnovers or move the ball all game, other than the drive where they kicked a field goal. I think Pain`s QB threw a couple of picks.
Truth drove the ball down the field within the last two minutes of the game, but missed a field goal that would`ve tied it up.
Pain ran out the clock. |

isn`t good under pressure at all. 2nd time I`ve seen him play, he has a arm but thats all. |
|
| @FYI | 3:50 PM |
Pretty accurate recap, it was a defensive controlled game. Pain was able to move the ball much more so that the Truth, they just couldn`t score. Pain`s offense put together an 11 minute drive to open the second half, but Erik Estrada missed the FG at the end of that drive. |

Scavs look tough and pain can make a run and collision and wolves are never. Out of it my sleepers are wuw , stone cold , blackwarfare |

TOP CLASS - SCAVS, WOLVES, PAIN, COLLISION MID CLASS - STONE COLD, TRUTH, PENS, LAZY SUNDAE SLEEPERS - BLACKWARFARE, WUW, OUTCAST, UNITED
Top class - I would put money that one of these teams wins it all. Mid class - Low chance of making it to the finals, but they could get a bye due to points diff and then a lucky draw and win one playoff game. Sleepers - Not in the true sense, but I mean they could possibly win an A playoff game, but they def aren`t winning it all.
Everyone else isn`t worth talking about. |
|
| so uhhhmmm | 5:54 PM |
How did pain get in the top class lol funny guy |
|
| PAIN | 7:19 PM |
PAIN SUCK THEY HAVE NO REALLY WON NOTHING IN A LONG TIME AND WAS NEVER ELITE |

2012 Winter champs - Pain (they beat Collision) 2011 Fall champs - Collision (they beat Pain) 2011 Spring champs - Wolves (they beat Truth) 2010 Fall champs - Scavengers (they beat Collision)
It`s consistently the same teams fighting for the A championship. So I`ll stick to my predictions and you guys can just STFU! |

Why wouldn`t we be considered a contender? |
|
| pain nice team | 10:14 AM |
Not top elite though, im looking at the chart most recent and even truth were in the championship last spring and their in the mid level. Stonecold and outcast needs to switch and truth and pain should be switched bad predictions |

we`ve been in the championship game the last 3 seasons in a row.
Summer - lost to Badboyz Fall - lost to Collision in Championship game Winter - beating Collision in the Championship game
Sounds like one of the top teams to me. But everyone has their own opinion. |

will win spring and see if we are contender come bark bowl |
|
| ^^^^ | 2:47 PM |
Dude you will not win spring! Wolves or Collision will!
|
|
| Reality is harsh | 3:45 PM |
Hollywood - you won winter? Are you kidding? That`s like winning the title in the CFL.
Again, until you win Spring or Fall A championship, you are just another team in the pack.
Why wouldn`t you be considered a contender? Because you guys have NEVER done anything in the Spring Sunday league (1-6 in the playoffs with 5 1st round exits).
Numbers don`t lie :) |

you right. numbers dont lie. did you know that HERPES has claimed the lives of more than 550,000 Americans. Today, There are approximately one million new cases of herpes each year. It has been estimated that about 20% of the population have genital herpes and 90% have oral herpes (cold sores). With that said, Hollywood your team has a better chance at this STAT than winning an actual Spring or Fall Ship.
Get TESTED! |

| Haha | 8:27 PM |
Well said. Herpes = Pain, they are always around and annoying but usually amount to nothing.

This new Pain squad isn`t the same one that got bounced in the 1st round multiple times. Making it to the finals for the last 3 consecutive seasons (Summer, Fall, Winter) bears that out. Regardless of the teams that are registered that season, you still have to beat some good squads to get there.
Elite? Wouldn`t go quite that far. But, ask any squad if they`re happy to have Pain on their schedule.
I don`t play for Pain...just saying cut those dudes some slack. They are one of a handful of contending teams in the league. Spring will be a good test for those boys. |

1-6 in spring playoffs is kind of a deceiving stat. Pain has gone 1-4 in Spring A playoffs, because lets just throw out B and C league stats from over 5 years ago.
1-4 in Spring A with 3 losses to the Wolves who won it each of those seasons. No one beat the wolves those years, so they just took their L early in the playoffs to the champs.
Yeah Pain probably isn`t elite, but for spring league I think really you can only talk about two teams (Wolves and DM) with only the Wolves being still active. However I do agree that those 4 "top class" teams have the best shot of winning this spring. Wolves - elite status, Scavs - very good group of players with a good scheme, Collision - Always in the mix with solid skill position players, Pain - Definitely an improved team over seasons past, they actually show up with a full squad |
