What teams are in the alternate tournament?

Teams that want to play in the "IFFL preseason tournament" in McLean (off Georgetown Pike) on August 6th (8-team single elimination + 3/4 place game) shoot me an email (tom@iffl.us) - We have 5 teams committed right now.

We have FOUR teams registered and others who "want in", but need to pay no later than THU. We`ll post the sched THU afternoon.

After I sent out the Spring team league-wide email yesterday we got interest from 2 more teams who want to play. I am sending our the email to last years IFFL/FCFFL Fall teams today.

If no other teams who want in pay up, we`ll run it as a 4-team double elim tourney. (2 teams get 2 games, 1 team gets 3, 1 team gets 4).

If we get 6 we`ll run a round robin (2 groups of 3 teams) and then have the top team from each group play each other for the championship. (4 teams get 2 games, 2 teams get 3)

If we get 8 paid, we`ll run it straight single elimination w/the 3rd/4th place game. (4 teams get 1 game, 4 get 3 games)
