You`re correct, sort of. 8 D-3 schools offer scholarship programs for certain sports since they play D-1 competition. Football is not one of them. What I meant to say is that D-2 (who offer partial scholarships) and D-3 schools showed some interest. Miami U offered a partial athletic and academic. But, I was never committed enough to play at that level. Sorry for the mix up.

I think Miami U is in Ohio. You`re thinking of the Canes in Florida. Hence, the discussion about D-2 and D-3.

Look, I`m not even saying I was that great...it`s not like I`m Al Bundy still stuck in my "Polk High" time warp. I was just saying that I sort of know the game and gave a point of reference, and that I was trying to play some friendly, but competitive ball on a team.

Sorry for the childish behavior of some people on this board. They are not a representation of this league. If you`re new to the league and want to get picked up, teams naturally want to know your size and if you can play or not. As long as you don`t come on the board saying you`re the greatest player and this and that, of course you have to build yourself up a little. I can`t understand why people will cut you down just for trying to get in the league.
