     ROSTERS, ROSTERS, ROSTERS

Tom - IFFL10:53 AM

Rosters LOCK Saturday night at 11:59 PM. This means you cannot change your roster for the rest of the season.

Most teams look like they have their rosters up with 12-20 people, but there are 5 teams with 0 rostered, and a few more with only 2 or 3 players.

After 11:59 PM Saturday, your opposing team`s coach for each week will be able to view and print out your roster (jersey#, first & last name only) through a link on the coach access menu.

roster challenges:

1) During or immediately after the game, your opponent can roster-challenge ONE player on your team who has been on the field for at least one play. If that player is not on your locked roster, you forfeit the game. Period.

2) If your team shows up with more players than the total count on your roster, and they all play at least one play - the oppossing coach does not have to challenge ONE player, he can challenge the fact that you had more players playing at least one play than are on your roster: forfeit.

*Remember, roster challenges must be made at the field, not with an email/call to me later in the day or week. Direct your roster challenge to the Head Official, who will get the player`s name and report the challenge to the league.

Submitting your roster:

Since most teams appear to have their rosters up, there should not be anyone experiencing a technical problem with submitting a roster online; however, you can also email me a team roster (tom@iffl.us) using this format:

player#, last name, first name, address

If you email me a roster by Saturday night, I will post it for you.

Players rostered on 2 teams:

This pertains to the IFFL only. Players can play on one IFFL team and another weeknight FCFFL team. It is the responsibility of coaches to maintain their rosters and ensure their players aren`t double dipping. If a player on your team is somehow on another team`s roster (previous coach did not delete player), but never plays for that team you have nothing to worry about.

If a player on your team also plays a game for another IFFL team after roster locks, here is how we handle it:

1) Is the player rostered on both teams?
***if no, the team he is not rostered on forfeits the game.
***if yes, the team who played the later game forfeits.

This means, for example, that if there is a player on your roster who plays for another team for a few weeks and then decides to jump over to your team for the playoffs - it does not matter if he is rostered on your team, its still a forfeit since by default the team he is officially rostered with is the team he takes the field with first after roster-lock.

For futher clarification, you cannot play on one Novice IFFL team and one Open IFFL team.

I think this covers everything...if not post your further questions here.
