     Most dangerous/complete team

Hollywood2109:54 AM

Who do you think is the most dangerous/complete team heading into the playoffs?

Diesel 710:32 AM

Novas shut out 5 teams and only allowing 7 points this season. That`s NUTS!

I second Diesel11:50 AM

Of course it`s the Novas. This is a stupid question for a thread.

Hollywood, what did you expect someone to say, Pain with their barely .500 record?? or maybe the Outlaws with their 10 pts of offense per game???

And no I don`t play for the Novas, and no I ain`t bashin on Pain or Outlaws.. just trying to prove a point.

Diesel 712:09 PM

I`m sure Hollywood wasn`t asking just to hear people say "Pain". He just wanted to know what people`s thoughts were on who is the most dangerous team.

Novas, Rhinos, Lazy, Wolves, and Badboys(MD) gets my vote.

actually12:11 PM

It could be the Rhinos or Lazy. Doesn`t it always come down to those 3 anyways? Different strokes for different folks.

yep12:37 PM

I agree, always seems to come down to Lazy and Rhinos, can`t disagree there.

DDUB1:20 PM

Message board poeple are funny.

to yup1:24 PM

didn`t it come down to novas and lazy last spring? just checking

The G.O.A.T.1:26 PM

I think everyone better watch out for BadBoyz. I hear those guys are pretty good.

re: The GOAT1:39 PM

That`s possible, but they play in Maryland so we don`t get a chance to watch them play.

Hollywood211:42 PM

It`s always one in the bunch.....

We tied Lazy (7-7), Lost to the Rhinos in the Barkbowl(7-0) so why would I say Pain when we didn`t beat those two teams ? It`s just a question.

I was referring to the undefeated teams (wolves, Lazy, Novas and Badboys). Seeing how no one has beaten these teams, it would be nice to hear who has the most dangerous/complete team heading into the playoffs.

I second Diesel2:50 PM

Well Hollywood, I still think it`s pretty obvious..

I mean, never lost, barely been scored on, and average over 20 a game. I think the answer is clear on who is the most complete team.

A better question might be who has the best chance to upset the Novas along the way?

peasant3:22 PM

well, either the rhinos or the bad boyz will lose this weekend. i would say the winner of that game along with the novas would be a safe bet. wolves/lions are always dangerous, and can beat anyone. lazy is always consistent, but i would venture to say that lazy is more dangerous with sef at receiver than qb. they are the champs until someone knocks them out. they always save their best for when it counts...the tournament

BAD GIRLZ GHETTO MD TEAM4:26 PM

TYPICAL GHETTO MARYLAND GIRLZ TALKING TRASH AND CAN NOT BACK IT UP!RHINOS -17 IS A LOCK

my 2 cents3:11 PM

seeing that Lazy and Wolves are in the weekest divisions I would give an upper hand to bad boyz, novas, and rhinos

Braddock3:31 PM

United, who`s tied for 3rd in the division, is 3-0 against Outcast, AM&M, and DWC the last time they played. Not bad for the WEEKEST division.

check your stats4:56 PM

United you are 0-1 against Outcast.

I believe5:29 PM

United beat them last year.

true6:25 PM

Outcast had half of their team gone for Mother`s day , but it was a great game.

Scarry Larry7:51 PM

All seriousness Badboyz are a well rounded team. No superstars, just alot of really good players. We are deep on both offense / defense. Most importantly we have a solid core who have been together playing flag football for several years.

We have played 2 VA teams in the past year and beat them both

Rhinos - last year regular season
Outcast - VA states tourny
Rhinos - this week TBD

Braddock9:36 PM

Looks like the Braddock division is sending 5 to the A playoffs (Mutiny will beat Union). I guess that must mean they are the weakest division, right?

United10:00 PM

I don`t know what we have to do with which division is the toughest.

At the end of the day, one team will be the champ and the rest will be chumps. So it doesn`t matter which division is the toughest or the weakest.

Anal Retentive Gambler3:07 PM

Well Braddock, given the mathematical law of averages, and the fact that there was very little interleague play, all divisions SHOULD send 4 teams to the playoffs. The fact that you got 5 isn`t exactly deserving of `kudos` you peasant.

It looks like your division will be taking one of Hook`s spots, as they will likely only send 3 to what I like to call the "June Jockfest". So do we call Hook the worst, and Braddock the best - maybe there`s some fire under that smoke.

But, personally I`m torn between Herndon and BC#2 at being the most competitive. I feel that way simply from Novas and Lazy are always there at the end, but also because of the rest of the quality experienced A teams there that seem to run a game or two deep into the playoffs, bark bowls, etc..

But right now.. I`m way in love with these Rhinos. I have to admit that they`ve stolen my heart away from the Nova`s. Last week, they easily covered a 12 pt spread while missing 10 people... I mean c`mon, how did they do that? Army of One(Hundred)indeed! I certainly expect to see this team go all the way to the finals, and the #1 seed only makes it all that much easier to get there.

Captain Obvious told me that the Novas and Rhinos are racing to a head on collision. And I hope so, b/c ARG will be right there, front row, taking any action.

I`m no Sheri-baby, but I`d set the early line at Rhinos (-3).

Remember the Titans3:13 PM

Mutiny wouldn`t even have a chance if all of the Titans shown up. Or if none of them had shown up.

vet6:30 PM

Sorry, there are the top 4 and everyone else. I know its fun to talk about, but the dropoff from 4 to the rest is pretty darn big. And then there is the Fall...

newbie6:53 PM

i would go with even top 3. then the next 3, then the next 12.

Rhinos08:12 AM

ARG, if you ever quit the handicapping business, there is always an opening for you in the Rhinos Army. Hands down, you are this seasons message board MVP.

We appreciate your support, but I would not go betting the little ARGs` college fund on us quite yet. Last time we played the Novas was Bark Bowl 2005 and anyone who saw that game can tell you it did not turn out well for the Rhinos. Throw in our mixed record in past games with Lazy, Wolves (at least when they were the Lions), and Bad Boyz, and the recent performance of the #1 seeds in the spring IFFL playoffs and you may want to hedge your bets.

Good luck to everyone in the upcoming playoffs. After about 13 years of running the Rhinos, I am constantley amazed at how much fun this continues to be. Big thanks to Tom, Rob and Shay for all their work in giving us something to do on Sunday mornings and obsess over during the week.

Correction coach, although we had our a8s handed to us by the Novas in the 2005 Bark Bowl, they also handed us the remainder of our a8s a month later in the Faifax Weeknight league.
