Scouting Report Please2:02 PM

Need Scouting report on Bad Boys, Lazy, and Lions. Anyone got some information.

Got your report right here2:10 PM

I got your report, right here. DON`T bother, you`ll lose! All are solid teams.

what team r you?2:13 PM

if i was playing badboyz or lazy i would not assume you will win and then be asking for a scouting report on the next game? lions are not even playing in the league this year so why do you care about them?

vet2:15 PM

from last year (ie, dont know if things have changed much)
Lazy: typical soft zone defense. Weakness is short passes (outs, curls) and flooding zone. Line is big>athletic, and typically didnt hurt us much as pass catchers=you can pin your ears back on the rush and rush your ends wide to contain/very shifty qb. Very laid back approach, ie: big plays, dont get too worked up, not nearly as uptight as some of the other teams. like i said, last year.

Wolves (last year Lions) feature the most unique team in the league. They are the only defense I can think of that plays man with no safety. that means a slant or cross can go the distance...IF you can beat their corners. good luck with that. anyhow, man=you can manipulate/clear one side out/set up picks/etc. Man does have another weakness: if you bring people in motion to block, whoever had that guy sometimes doesnt know what to do=free blocker.
Offensively, they are the only team that exclusively runs the spread. THE KEY IS TO KILL EVERYONE IN THE BACKFIELD BUT THE QB...take away all the razzle and trap options before you get to the qb, then quickly but casually take him under control. easier said than done. Their qb is one of the most underrated players in the league and doesnt make a ton of mistakes. the other weakness of the spread is, as you get closer to the goaline, it is less effective. you may consider giving them short and easy, letting them march, then trying to stiffin up once inside the 10.

Bad Boyz: Play hard
Lazy:play hard
Lions:Go back in time...And play hard

vet2:17 PM

just read everyone else`s post that came before mine.
screw them...try your hardest. the biggest achilles heel of almost every team (even the almighty "big boys") is not being smart. be smart, and you can move the ball on anyone in this league.

VET2:29 PM

Lazy likes the long ball and will go deep.

More suggestions2:34 PM

Make sure your team physically shows up. It`s playoff time and you can`t sleep on anyone. Don`t make mistakes (turnovers, penalties, etc). Make sure you adjust your O and D as needed during the game. Take advantage of what the other team is giving you. Lastly and most importantly -- Play Hard and Smart.

vs Bad Boys2:35 PM

Solid, discipline athletic team. Offensively, they have three weapons that they use with great success. This includes their running QB, the center and their tall athletic receiver that lines up on their right. If you can stop these three, you will have much success against the Bad Boys. Their QB is among the league’s elite at that position. He isn’t quick to get rattled or make bad decisions. If he can’t get it to his center or wide out, he will tuck it in and attempt to beat you to the outside. The key is making sure your ends keep containment and that their rush is under control. Keep him in the pocket. Mix up your rushes including occasional blitzes but the key again is to keep him contained. He is not as effective when working in the pocket, his biggest asset is working out of the pocket and on the run. The center goes out on every play. His patterns are 10 – 15 yards and he will occasionally run a fly. He is not fleet of foot but he is shore handed. In a zone defense, the center will find the open spot all day and exploit it. Your best bet is to man up on him. Their tall wide out is very athletic and they will attempt the deep pass to him quite often during the game. In goal line situations you may want to put your tallest DB on him because they will attempt the jump ball to him. If the QB is contained and the center and wide out are covered, the QB will occasionally dump it off to their right guard. It’s a simple offense that is focused around those three individuals, if you contain them the odds will weigh heavily in your favor.

Defensively, they are disciplined. They have a pretty good rush and are good flag pullers. They rush 2 and switch between a soft zone and man to man. They’re defense is sound but their weak spot is stopping the run. Mobile QB’s tend to be their Achilles heel. When in trouble your QB should always take off.

Holla3:00 PM

Keep Sef contained, that`s all I`ll say.

Because...5:22 PM

You can`t stop Sef, you can only HOPE to contain him.

Lazy Rept is easy5:23 PM

just pay attention to the brothas. shut them down and it is an easy win, guaranteed. only problem is actually doing it.

Sef 815:39 PM

I haven`t had a good game all season. And last time I checked, this was a team game.

vet09:25 AM

Their line arenet huge pass catching threats (lazy) which means you can start your ends wide, pin you ears back (rush fast guys, not big guys) and your safety/linebacker should play close to the line to help track Sef. Doesnt listen to his modesty...he is mellow, has a "been there done that" confidence that at any level is important. he good.

Who`s Whats?2:53 PM

Bad Boys are nice! They`re QB is, arguably, the best in the IFFL. He`s shifty and quick, but he has a cannon-arm and is even accurate on the run. Containing him is difficult, and if you try too hard to do so, you`ll expose a weakness in your coverage... and they exploit these with ease: a credit to their physicial receivers. They have great cover corners and pass-rushers (often rushing 3 every down)... beat them with short passes and keep their offense off of the field!

T.O3:58 PM

LOVE THE RESPECT THAT EVERYONE HAVE FOR BADBOYZ THANX BUT WHATEVER U SAY ITS NOT GOING 2 WORK

Who`s Whats?4:05 PM

Maybe it won`t... but I`m pretty sure T.O. would rather play the game than take the victory due to forfiet or something.

C`mon now, play to win. Even someone like T.O. can understand that...
