How any games that took place 5 years ago even matter. Both teams probably have many new faces by now. The game on the list that may be relevant is the Spring 2006 game where the Playmakers blew the Novas out (6-0).

Even if the Novas get by the Playmakers they will be up against another team that has dominated them in the playoffs.

Its not looking good.

We should just call the Novas the Rodney Dangerfield of the league, because even if they beat all the teams you`ve listed and win the championship you guys will still come up with reasons why they don`t deserve it. Why does everyone continue to sleep on them so much? They were undefeated in the fall, ran the table other than Larrys this spring and no one really has come close to beating them. You guys keep talking about the past and who beat them in the past. I`m no oldtimer but I`ve been in the league for 5 years and this isn`t the same Novas team that any of you beat. They`ve added a ton of new blood along with their old guys (and I do mean OLD) and have continued chugging along.
I`m just curious as to why all the reach arounds and azz patting for Lazy, Wolves, Playmakers, BBoys etc and why no love for the Novas. My team has lost to them twice in the past two season by at least 14 and before that we used to play close games. If any team has gotten better over the past two seasons it`s them.

I have never seen Novas play so..no hating here. I also agree with games from 5 years ago meaning nothing. Apparantley Novas beat Badboyz 2 times already...I have been on the team for 3 years now and I never remeber playing them so I am sure although old stats look cool....they dont mean squat.

That being said...I belive it will be a fun game to watch..and I hope the Playmakers win....damn it pains me to say that. (Because there is no love between us and playmakers...the only thing we have in common is a sense of you guys VS us)Which I think is a pretty cool thing, adds an elemnt of rivalry to an otherwise boring playoff. Do I htink the Novas will win...probably. They are a #1 seed...but its more fun to root for the out of towner underdogs for me.

NOVAS have played in STATE and NATIONAL Championship games. THAT`S PRESSURE. I DON`T THINK ANYONE IS "****TING THEIR PANTS" OVER PLAYING A TEAM WHO BARELY BEAT THEM WITH SIX PLAYERS AT KICKOFF AND HALF THE TEAM MISING LAST SPRING.

I remember when the Bad Boyz played the NOVAS years ago. It was when BB had just entered the IFFL league for the first time in DC, and after playing in so many other leagues, the rules were foreign. The NOVAS dominated due to various things like multiple forward passes, etc. It took two seasons or so for the BB to step up their game in the IFFL league. It was during the times when Playmakers actually gave BB a good game, but that`s no longer the game of the week. BB has come to rule the MD side of IFFL, and slowly moving south!!

I saw the Novas run the table in Fairfax fall then get it handed to them at the state tourney so go figure.

Novas are the best thing going and the playmakers SUCK...It`s that simple!!
