My question is, "What makes the NOVA`s/Lazy Sundae formula work"? I watched both of them play and they appear to always pull it off somehow. Just curious;

Team work and just the amount of time they have together helps a lot. They do have some skills too.

Honestly...it`s called heart and more heart. Both teams have played with only seven and still put up numbers and held their own. Bottomline, when you play either one of these teams...you must have your "A Game" and a sideline...these guys look old but are very much in shape and don`t tire out with ease. The Nova`s have a rushing lineup that`s sick as well. Don`t let size fool you about the #80 kid or the big bald guy (don`t know his name) and they have a light skinned dude that a beast too...they are quick and have great hands to frustrate any QB in the league. Lazy, has speed on the "O" line and their QB is smart as hell in the pocket...mechanics, heart and more heart. Hope I didn`t over do it;

said above is how good/great teams and programs are successful. In football there isn`t any short cuts to success. What works for one team may not work for another. However if you can achieve a good balance of talent and skill with discipline and commitment should get a team on the path, but this takes time won`t happen over night.

Commitment, same 13 guys show every week, and famililarity(sp) with your teammates. You must understand their abilities and limitations and put everyone in a position to succeed. If you cant block someone bring in another blocker, If you cant cover someone play another guy. If someone is to tall ask for help...No shame in our game

NOVAS have no sigle player to worry abour, so you have to account for all of them. You will look at then and think "I can cover that guy all over the field", or "How can that guy beat me?". Before you know it they took 3/4 of the half to put 7 up on you and you are playing catch-up. Most of their players are nice guys so you don`t get juiced playing them. They have NO speed at any position. They just win. Lazy...you really want to beat these guys. I think teams try too hard. Take what they give you and be patient. Unlike the NOVAS they have speed all over the place and they will hit the home run on you. Long story short...they will let you back into games if your are patient. Their players are nice dudes as well. Sometimes they talk smack, but not their bawlers. They leave that to their second tier players.

Two great programs...two different approaches...lots and lots of wins.

That both the NOVA`s and Lazy are full of guys that pride themselves on sportsmanship... not a lot of me-this and me-that $hit talk. They rarely bicker amoung themselves, and are about as professional as possible for a pay-to-play league.
