Australian Rugby players can kick the **** out of the ball? I read the eagles are giving a try out to some Australian named rocca who is 265 and kicks the ball 60-70 yds 8/10 times, amazing.
That guy from diesel how far could he kick it?
Maybe someone, i don`t know scary larry should send his tapes to the redskins.... they could use someone for back up to frost...

Rocca said in the Philly Inquirer that the Aussie rules ball is larger and has a bigger sweet spot. It`s also a little heavier compared to the American ball so it makes it easier to kick the American ball farther IF you hit the smaller sweet spot accurately. |

If you can`t get a Ruby Player a soccer player does just as good. |

I`m not sure what his range is but last week he kicked about it about 70 yards in the rain. He does say our football is too small lol. |

Come on Diesel...70 yards?!! In the rain?!! He needs to leave the IFFL along, there are about 32 teams in the NFL that would LOVE to have him!! |

Funny discussion here guys. (You teach me to run routes, hooks, posts and anything else to do with American football i can teach you to kick!!!!) Although i wouldn`t like my mates from australia to think i couldn`t kick over a 40-45 metres (50-55 yds) now, i would be the laughing stock of my home town.
But Big Sav is right Yes american balls are smaller and a lot easier to kick..... |
