Were the Novas and Wolves games as close as the scores indicate?

CLOSER!!! The wolves won with an interception return for a TD and a safety. Their D is very good. Next week should be a good defensive battle

I heard that the Wolves-AMM game was as close as it sounded. Heard the game was 7-7 till a Wolves int for TD towards the end of the game sealed it. But i heard there was a safety in there somewhere...not sure when.

Saw the Novas-Playmakers game and it looked like the Novas had it under control for most of the game. They had 2 ints the first half and long controlled drives on offense. Playmakers had one long strike for their TD, but didn`t have many other chances.

Mac Daddies won in a close game over the NUTS 13-10. I give props to the team from maryland the NUTS, they played a hard faught game. There Center made one hell of catch and the end of the game. good luck to the rest of the teams playin.

Trush is, AMM dominated the games against the Wolves. Just a two key mistakes and the Wolves got a gift win.

Jim doesn`t play for us. But more importantly, good teams find ways to win games and Wolves found a way to win. The safety was fairly meaningless (4th & 35, under 2 min). But i`ll always take a tie game w/under 3min & the ball @ midfield against a good team. Next time....

What`s so interesting? If AM&M drives the ball and runs out the clock for a last second field goal, Wolves are sitting at home next week. Not sure you want to go there do you?

The All Makes/Wolves game was very competitive and enjoyable. Defense dominated.

The Wolves went up 7-0 on a long run from their QB (and bad flag pulling from AMAM). Wolves got downfield towards the end of the half on a poorly thrown bomb that should have been picked. The Wolves receiver made a great play to come back and take it away from the corner. AMAM defense stiffened and held Wolves to a field goal attempt that was missed.

AMAM second half kickoff and marched down the field. They scored on great catch by the AMAM receiver. 7-7.

The defenses held and AMAM got the ball back with around five minutes left. They seemed to be putting together a steady, time-cosuming drive. Then the QB tried to throw out underneath to one of the blockers who wasn`t expecting the ball and never looked back. The Wolves player stepped in front of the ball and returned it for a TD.

Wolves kicked off and AMAM got the ball on the 20 with two minutes left. Wolves they brought a good rush getting a sack and breaking up what looked to be a double pass. Then AMAM tried a handoff/pitch back (probably another double pass) that was lost in the endzone for the safety. That ended the game.

Dominated the game? I don`t think so Jim. I beleive AMM had two receptions all game from thier receivers (one happened to come down as a td), you barely crossed the 50, your defense couldn`t stop the run, and your qb threw two picks. Is that dominating a game? The two mistakes came from the wolves whan they missed an extra point type field goal and threw an int. Relax Jimbo!!

I do believe that in every sport the team or person with the better SCORE wins. Who is moving on to the final four? The four teams that had the highest score at the end of the game you ignorant F**k!!! My guess is you also live by the saying that "winning isn`t everything."

Playing the "what if" game makes you look like a chump and a sore loser. Try harder next time and don`t "give" them the game.

i`m hoping no one on AM&M is saying we dominated and we could`ve won; `cause that wasn`t the game i saw from the middle of the field. I saw a great game that could`ve gone either way, but the better team won in the end. Both teams justified their seeding - what more can you ask for.

If what Onlooker`s recap is true, it sounds like defense did dominate. If there`s only one offensive touchdown per team in a flag football game, that means either the defense dominated or the offenses were totally incompetent. Looks like "interesting......" thinks AMAM offense sucked. Yet their offense scored as much as wolves offense. That would logically indicate wolves offense sucked too, correct? Yet he fails to point this out. Hmmmm. Could "interesting......
