Which team from C is moving up? |
|
| I think | 10:10 AM |
Penetrators and Wolfpacks |
|
| I think | 9:02 PM |
they will wish they hadn`t moved up |
|
| one more year | 10:18 PM |
I watched the C championship game and would have to say that none of the top C teams would wins games in A/B league with their current rosters. Even with more experience these teams still lack the size and height needed to win consistantly. |

Agree! I tell you why, Not sure if one more year would help. I think both teams have stopped growing. No question the current C teams would struggle with the larger and faster B and A teams. Off season recruiting will be vital for the C teams wanting or having to move up. |
|
| Well... | 07:39 AM |
Maybe they can move up to "mini-A" |
|

Not so fast... B & A teams maybe bigger but not necessary faster than the top C teams especially for teams that are made up mostly of 30+ years old players. |

Speed and talent are two different things, grasshopper. That is the separation between the elite and the non-elite. Speed is nice, speed kills but if you`re running a 4.2 40 and can`t catch, defend or pull a flag what the hell good are you but a nice commodity on a C team. |
|
| Coach #2 | 09:49 AM |
Agree, But before we get away from what "one more year" said. The issue isn`t speed. It`s the size difference. Ex. If Irrevence had all player running 4.2`s wouldn`t factor in a whole lot because their avg. player height is about 5`6"-5`8" compared to the VN or Wolves. avg. of 6`0"-6`2" or better. (I wouldn`t consider either of those teams slow) Not sure I bet that a C player that ran a 4.2 could cover a B or A player that ran a 4.5 not with that at the height advantage. So speed doesn`t mean everything and we haven`t even talked about the talent factor. |

To Coach #2,
Amen, you`re preaching to the choir. |
|
| clock | 10:07 AM |
Can anyone even run a 4.5 in our league? I`m guessing high 4.6 max. And that`s blazin |
|
| Irrev #21 | 10:13 AM |
Agree that experience (organization) and size matters a great deal which is the difference between C and open league. But I believe our team is up there with the best of them in terms of sport IQ/recognition, heart and hustle. In time, we will get better with organization and will be competitive. |

| A player | 10:36 AM |
Theres two types of speed. There speed with skills...that is what kills. Then there`s just speed.
Size is does not make a team.
Pain is a big team but very soft and needs a few more skilled players.
Wolves do not have big players. They have athletes with a lot of football smarts.
I take smarts over speed anyday.

| First of all... | 12:47 PM |
If Irrev and Armada are so good at C, why aren`t they moving up???
Doesn`t make sense that Penetrators and Wolfpack move up, when there aren`t even in the top 2.
Secondly... as a 6`2" defender (and a slow one at that), I live for a 5`8" WR, and I don`t give a $hit how fast he is. He`s never gonna get off the line with a good bump, and he`ll never catch any jump ball... And frankly, a QB is gonna have to be pretty damn good to put the ball out of my long reach even if I am beaten by a step or two. If that ball ain`t on target and there quick.. it`s getting batted down. |

u donkey, theres no way teams that barely won 1 or 2 games r going to move up from C. ur reading way wayyyyy to into that post. my donkey of the week goes to who ever "First of all..." is. jokes just kind of go over ur head, dont they buddy. |
|
| First of all... | 1:49 PM |
You may be right in calling me a donkey.. but I did tune into this C post to see who was stepping up this year to A.
Sorry if I didn`t ready the sarcasm of the post, when you mentioned a couple of bottom feeders ... I guess you must have assumed I actually give 2 $hits about C and followed it enough to know who won how many...
No. What I did tune in for is whether Armada or Irrev, the finalists, are gonna take their chances in A soon??
And no the joke didn`t go over my head.. it was just a joke referring to something that really isn`t topical.
You want a funny choke.. here`s one for you:
Who the hell goes to TGI Friday`s for happy hour? |
|
| Rules | 1:54 PM |
According to the current rules, Armada and Irrevence must move up. I do think at the coach`s meeting this year they need to revisit that rule. Maybe only enforce that if a team has won back to back champinoships in C that they are forced to move up.They`re is enough blood shed going on in the world today. |

Coach #2:
I wouldn`t be all giddy about 6`2 guarding short Receivers. If you look at the NFL and college, most CB`s are 5`11 to 6 and the WR`s are now getting up to the 6`2 and up range.
Speed matters when you are a WR. Quick and fluid hips matters for CB`s.
Irr were mostly players from an Open team who beat some B teams when they played. Both C teams will definately have issues with Oline considering they are small but nothing a good recruiting job won`t fix.
One last note. You can be 6`5 and 300lbs but if you are slow as hell with speed and reaction time, the fast skinny guys will blow by you everytime PERIOD.

| Wolfpack | 2:29 PM |
no we arnt moving up I think just wants to think to much and guess who`s moving up... mad respects to Armada and Irr and good luck to them when they move up |
|
| #6 Armada | 3:47 PM |
we`re being pushed up... i beleive Irreverence has split, so i`m not sure how many of their players will move onto an A or B team roster. |
|
| Open Division | 3:56 PM |
They will be pushed into the open divison. From there, their record at the end of the season will determine if they will be in the A or B playoffs. You have to earn being called A. |
