Here`s what happened. QB rolls right and throws the ball to Lineman after getting pressure. By that time most of the defense has rolled right including the safety (#3). Linemen gets the ball and runs left but hind the line. The far left CB (#6) sees this and lets OMB go behind him perhaps thinking the Linemen is running and has safety help. The linemen sees the wide open OMB and throws the ball.. TD..

We all had brain farts that day. I had 2 bad snaps at the goal line. We didn`t convert on 2 scoring opportunities in the first half. Had we scored, I think the MO would of swung our way big time.

It was a lucky/fluke play!! I rolled looking to throw a screen, your D collapse to that side, I didn`t see a single receiver open nor did I see a lane to run in. I glanced back at jimmy knowing that he should be there bc we`ve discussed it in the past. If his man for some reason gets off the block, that he is to slide back and to the other side of center. I threw it to him to avoid a sack and before you know it he made a heads up play hitting OMB down the left side with noone within a 10 yard radius of him. Lucky play, but we still had to execute!

Being burned implies someone running faster or juking you while engaged one on one.

He was out of position meaning he wasn`t where he supposed to be. You can not be burned if you where not there in the first place.

Armada needs a new QB if they want to win a game in open. Irrv is good enough to pick up a couple w`s against teams like hounds,overated,going deep.......

No matter what the outcome was…it was an evenly matched game and was exciting to watch from the sidelines. Both Peter and Rice played a hell of a game. Peter made plays when they needed it and Rice, I just felt sorry for because he had no kind of protection. Rice has probably the 3 best receivers in the C league but can’t deliver because of NO protection.

I was just happy to see both teams play each other in finals.

Can we even be sure this is the same play? If you look at the pics, from what I know of Hook, it looks like he starts out on the offense left side of the field and runs almost completely to the right side?

If it is the same play, #3 does look to make a good pull, but IMHO, the white shirt made it easy for him running sideways across the field.
