Congratulations to the Bad Boyz for winning the 2007 IFFL-AWLA Stars & Stripes tournament. They started strong and finished the day even stronger, pulling ahead early and often in all three games.

This tournament sends $400 to the Animal Welfare league of Arlington, and they are very appreciative.

Congrats to the Bad Boys. To reiterate what Tom said, they jumped out to a quick 12 to 0 lead against us and we were unable to catch them at the end. They defiantly deserve the championship

Funny thing is, Bad Boyz started off talking a lot of trash (in the Spring) mostly out of habit/I guess thats the way it is in MD. However, they mellowed and dominated. The other two teams sucked and still ran their yaps. I mean, DAMN dont you know when its time to SHUT UP!

To be serious with you vet, all the trash talking during the spring was all fun and games. we knew that you va teams didnt know what to expect when you guys played against us so we just hyped it up. We come out to play football and have fun like everybody else.

BadBoyz...congrats on the Stars & Stripes. Look forward to hopefully playing you guys in the Fall.

Outlaws looked pretty good. They had a few players from other teams that helped out a bit. If the Dietz QB remains with them for the fall, expect them to be battling it out for the A title again.

Lets not over do it...the qb is solid, but being a little over-hyped. Their strength is their line. But "A title again"...do you mean Fairfax Fall nights? If so, thats a big statement...

How come a two time A league champs plays in the B Divsion at states? Who does that?

Everybody knows, and accepts the fact, that Sunday`s league, is not true A Ball.

Not sure who would win, but Dietze/Sharks would be a very good game.

They don`t play in the sunday spring league, or the weeknight fall league, and they play in the B state tourney. any team that dodges all the great teams consistently can`t claim to be great.

put deitz in the weeknight league with all the top A teams and lets see how they do.

They dont talk smack about how good they are, but lets face it, they are justa very good b team that knows how to win against old B farts. They aren`t stupid either, they know that they dont stand a chance in A weeknights, or probally can`t field a team on weeknights?? Also QB. doesn`t have a strong enough arm to play in A league.

I`ve seen the Dietz QB play against teams 3x better in the full contact league than the top A league team here in Fairfax and he`s led his team to at least 3 championships (B$ & The Boys). You guys have no clue about what a great QB truly is. You guys think if a guy can throw 80 yards down the field or run like Mike Vick (pre-lockdown) that he`s a great QB...fact is, can the guy hit an open WR when he needs to or put the ball in the endzone when he needs to. Ask the NFL gurus if Joe Montana or Tom Brady was ever ranked near the top with STRONGEST ARMS in the league. The Dietz QB has been a beast for years in this league and full contact and better believe he`s won more games than 99% of the QBs that you think are the next ALL WORLD flag football all stars.

Next thing you`ll be talking about how good he was in pee wee. Weak arm or strong arm. This team needs to find away to step up their game. Even tho they played B(should have been A) at States they still didn`t win it. Still a lot to prove before we compare them to a Sharks/Kerns team.

Doesn`t matter what league they play in, they`re in the top 3 in northern VA. Ask Lazy and Rhinos if they disagree.

Lazy, Rhinos, Novas, Wolves, Sharks, Kerns, Deitz (not listed in any particular order) have all won A championships in northern VA over the past couple years. to flat out claim that Deitz is top 3 is pretty assinine. They`re all great teams. I`d like to see all those teams get together and play a round robin tourney of some sort. (maybe include the bad boys just to help the MD fellas feel included).

Not on anyone`s sack and I never said Deitz was a great team compared to the top A teams...just tired of hearing guys with no skillz who think they are all world ballers saying their QB is all world and disrespecting a QB who is actually pretty good.

the record, name the 6 QBs who are better than the DN QB. In the Sunday league, there`s only 1 guy I`ve seen who is better (Bad Boys). Guess the rest play at night.

Best team also has the best Qb and thats Wolves. Bad Boys Qb is a close second. Lazy Qb can win a game by himself. Deitz/Outlaws Qb is 4th best at the most but somewhere between 4 and 8 just for this league. If you say the weeknight league too then Kerns and Sharks Qbs are above so somewhere between 6-10.

I completely agree with "why". Bad Boyz QB is the best of the teams that they have played so far - even the Wolves. Wolves wide-outs caught two CRUCIAL for TDs, but as far as precision ball, accurate passing, speed, etc. Bad Boyz QB is the better one. In my opinion, again having only played Rhinos, Outlaws, Wolves, Lazy, Diesel, and having watched Scrubs, Novas and some other team, Lazy had the better QB. I think that Sef is a better and more athletic QB than the Wolves. Not taking anything away from the Wolves QB.

Good post "true observer" Bad Boyz, Wolves, Lazy, Outlaws have the best QB`s. Tough to pick the single BEST one, everyone will have their own opinions.

Actually Bad Boyz QB does have a championship in this league. The year before we beat Vegas Nights to win the championship. This was before he combined VA and MD for the playoffs. So now technically Bad Boyz do have the best QB according to some of your standards.

If you haven`t taken a beating by the Novas then you`ve been playing C league. They`ve been around since Ronald Reagan was in office. I know they`ve given us a good beating or three.

Have seen or played against every qb mentioned. Left off the list is the Coyotes qb and Kerns, both of whom are really good. As well as Plumbers qb from last fall, who had a gun, but an idiot. The Sharks qb has the same game as Deitz, but better...a much better playmaker. Deitz qb is fine, but nothing scary. Their line is goooooood. Sef is goooooooood. Bad Boyz gooooooooood. The best may have been that crazy ass brother combo...they briefly played for the NOVAs, and they played for the Generals a few years back. He was a complete prikc, but a damn good qb, whatever his name was.

Can not wait for the fall season to roll around. Sounds like we have a lot to prove. Average QB and nothing else...just luck I guess. For the record we only play in the Fall Sunday league because most of us are old married guys with families. Tough to get enough guys together in fall much less week nights or Spring.
It would be nice if teams were forced to mention the team name before they post retarded messages.
I hope we can pull off a couple of "W"`s this season.

Your team does have a lot to prove if you want get the respect as a legit Championship A team. However, not going to get it done in Sunday league or playing in B States.

So, you`ll remain the Hamburg Sea Devils of the Fall Sunday while the other teams such as Sharks, Novas etc get their respect in the weeknight and A state and Nationals levels of play.

But it is what it is, Can`t field a team you say? All good, enjoy your Sundays the best way you know how. But you do have to wonder. How do the Novas, My Plumbers, Sharks etc been getting it done for so long?
