i think that we are looking to add depth to the team.

Good luck in keeping everyone happy as far as playing time is concerned.Depth is nice , but sometimes it can be damaging to the teams moral.

But if you wanna win then you have to make sacrifices. A little time for a championship, I`ll make that trade anytime.

Red storm will be playing in the A league this fall. To prepare for the transition, we have added some major talent and depth at all positions. Its always hard to keep everyone happy with PT but as Sef and Lions 52 know, its all for the W. Anyone interested in a scrimmage on the 21st?

I believe its the IFFL league but Im not sure. All i know is the games are on sunday mornings.

If Red Storm thinks they`re really that good then they should be playing in the Fairfax League with the big boys.

Both leagues are competitive.The IFFL A is going to be a slugfest and Fairfax weeknights is loaded , but it will have great games in the playoffs.We are all BIG BOYS, so don`t disrespect !!!!!

However, we know the real "A" league is in the FFX weeknight league.

Call it what you want , but some teams in the IFFL just can`t get everybody out on a weeknight.We have jobs and families, so I hope you don`t hold that against us.I play in both leagues and the competitiveness and the intensity is about the same.FCFFL has a lot more teams , so I guess that makes them the BIG BOYS.

I woulds have to agree with the last statement. I think that Going Deep is one of those teams. we all saw what they could do at the BB. Unfortunately, over all, the FFX have some pretty strong teams. That makes it the stronger league. Dont get me wrong, i am sure that there are some really good teams in the IFFL, but over all FFX is the stronger of the two, in my opinion.

There is no question that the best teams play weeknights, but unfortunately there are others of us that are forced to play exclusively on weekends. And that, my friends, is why we play the Bark Bowl and VFFA tourney. Gotta have a measuring stick every so often...good luck to all in FCFFL...see you in December.

very well said. i agree whole heartedly. it is a shame that teams like yours and teams like Going Deep can`t get a team together for the weeknights. i think that the both of your teams would get so much better and give us a run for our money. We would like to get a team together but can`t get enough guys to play during the week. We enjoy the competition. It would be nice to see some of the better teams join the Sunday league. I think there is still an opening.

i think that would be fun, but we (LIONS) use MyPlumber as our measuring stick. they have won state titles and national titles. so we play where they do.

Gotta measure yourself against the best.

Outcast, best of luck with the fall season, i hope to see you all at states. it is always nice to see people from Northern Virginia Leagues do well at the state tournement. we are on the mend this fall season. we lost two really key players at the BB for the rest of the season. so we are going to make things work with what we have on the roster.

We hope those guys recover and can be back to playing ball soon.Regardless of all the stuff that is said, I don`t think anyone wants to see someone get hurt.
