We`re suspending registration for the time being and might reopen if we get additional field space allocation.

I am going to email 8 or 9 teams to determine if we run 3 or 4 Open divisions or 1 "A" and 3 "B" divisions.

We should have divisions assigned and posted early next week.

Our field use this Spring starts early, so there will be games on March 17th (all Novice) and some Open or A/B.

NO GAMES on 3/23 - Easter. If we`re not running too far behind with make-up games there will be no games (as usual) on 5/25, Memorial Day weekend. We will play (as usual) on 5/11 - Mothers Day.

Each team will have a bye week.

Once we get the divisions and schedules set, I will send out a league-wide email with more information. I will send an additional "primer" document to brand new teams.

So since registration is closed for the time being, can we still register another C league team later or is 12 the max?

Its not the actual # of teams in C or Open, its the total # of teams overall - and right now, with byes calculated in, we`re at the max unless we get additional field allocation.

Getting more field space is not out of the question, so its possible we will reopen for a little while.

So when do you expect the season to start? I guess you are working on the schedule as of right now...?

Why are you only asking 8 or 9 teams about the divisions? I think you should ask every team. I know my team would like separate divisons and sure would like a vote. All the top teams are of course going to say they want an open division.

If the top teams don`t want the A-B format, then what`s the point of everyone else voting?

Maybe try to rent some fields in Loudoun.Claude Moore Park is a good spot and I think they have open time on Sunday mornings.
