CN probably has the best defensive line but their secondary is weak. they dont force many turnovers but dont really need to since teams would have to respect their dlineman. overall their defense is solid but can be exploited. they dont have much speed in their secondary. there is no clear cut number 1 defense in the league. no one has played everyone yet but i`d have to say that the defense with the best upside is wolf pack. they have alot of speed and athleticism. from what i`ve seen, they`ve forced turnovers. but at the sametime, they`ve played CN and Desktop Warriors which are struggling on offense right now. DW hasn`t scored a TD yet and CN has avg`d 7 points per game so far. So Wolf pack has not been tested yet. Wolf pack`s next game is a real good test. They play their fellow asian team Quality Hibachi. One of their players also plays on the open league team, Storm. Their QB is decent and is elusive. It should be an interesting game. Which Wolf pack team will show up? the one that couldnt score against CN? or the one that blew out a really bad Desktop Warriors?

WHILE MOST OF WHAT U SAY I CAN AGREE WITH BUT AS FAR AS WOLF PACK NOT BEING TESTED I CANT AGRRE. WF GOT SHUT OUT BY CN LARGLEY DUE 2 THE PASS RUSH, NO TIME 2 THROW RESULTS IN NO TOUCHDOWNS, THEY PUT UP MAD POINTS AGAINST DW BECAUSE THEY HAD NO PASS RUSH WITCH MEANT ALL DAY TO THROW AND YOU SAW THE OUTCOME OF THAT GAME. BASICALLY IT COMES DOWN TO THE PASS RUSH SO DONT TELL ME THEY HAVNT BEEN TESTED YET CUZ THAT BS.

Hey TA - we don`t have a punter. We`re always close enough to kick the FG or go for it.

I guess we won`t be thorwing any deep balls, since you said we shouldn`t. And I got a tip for you while we`re dishing them out...don`t throw ANY balls period, unless you like getting sacked and pressured.

IFFL fan - Pretty good analysis of the season so far. Too early to tell for sure but right now we are the top dog on D. You call the secondary weak, but thats pretty inaccurate considering the amount of passes that have been completed over 10 yards. I`ll take the best D line in the league over the best secondary in the league any day of the week.

Fireman: I was saying that Wolfpack`s Defense hasn`t been tested. Not the offense. You guys locked down when you needed to against them. (EX. Three red zone trips and your defense held up. if not for that, you guys may have lost to them but good job strapping down.)

DFA: You`re right. But again, your secondary has the luxury to lean on your defensive line. Its hard to attempt any passes when you go up against a good rush. Teams can stack the line in max protext, do whatever they can to eliminate it and that just decreases the possibility to make plays in open field when 2 WR`s go up against 6 in the secondary. I`d take a good rush over a good secondary anyday as well. A good defensive line is a rare commodity in football in general. Wolfpack did move the ball on you guys all game. But your red zone defense strapped down when you need to.

Only reason why I see Wolfpack as with the best upside on defense is because they have the raw talent in speed and athleticism. Once that team has the chemistry, theres no telling how good they can be. They just need to get on the same page. Other than the CN game, they are showing more class this year by not talking alot of trash on the messageboards.
