This Sunday, we are moving games involving teams with only 2 games played to the "rain safe" field, Lake Fairfax, and "rain safer" field, Hook Rd.

We`re also inserting a few make-up games here and there. I will email affected coaches by tomorrow, once the revised schedule is set.

Barring an additional rainout, we should be able to still conclude the regular season by 6/1, with all teams starting playoffs on 6/8 (instead of Novice starting on 6/1 and A/B on 6/8).

If we do get another partial rainout, we may have to push back playoffs a week for Novice or Open.

The MD division is on track, and will likely still be off on 5/11, but we may have to use that field space for VA make-up games.

Have teams been made aware of these changes? Are schedules going to be updated on the site?

No, schedule will change a little. There is one mistake I caught (Liger/Brass playing again this week - should be Titans/Liger), but even that might change as I shift teams towards the "open vs novice game between teams who cannot improve position" for 6/1.

I might have Prowlers play the loser of Desktop/WTF on 5/18 (where right now it shows Desktop/WTF playing again)- and the loser there would be locked in as the the last place Novice team who will face the last place Open team (locked in after 5/18) on 6/1.

There are also Open teams who are not playing on 6/1, which would mean a 3 week break between 5/18 and playoffs on 6/8. I`d like to minimize that as much as possible.

On top of that, there are still 3 make-up games to plug in. I am going to make a few slight adjustments today and tomorrow and will have the Open schedules through 6/1 finalized hopefully by tomorrow.
