What happened during the PS, QH game?

hibachi doing a great job of playing solid with their back to back games - shows they got plenty physical skills

QH and PS game was pretty good. Our game/field got cancelled (BC2) for whatever reason so we stayed to watch the game. It was a close game and tied at halftime. All QH did was dump off in the middle or short dumpoffs to the outsides and they killed PS with that. PS had some missed flag pulls which caused a TD for QH. PS threw 2 picks and stopped the QH from scoring on the 5 yd line, which made QH go for the field goal, which they missed. PS had a chance to tie the game after a pass interference call but their line couldn`t match the speed of QH and gave up a sack. If they would`ve given PS`s qb like an extra second, they would have scored, considering he threw it and the tall receiver still caught in the endzone. All in all, it was a good game. PS def. doesn`t look like a 1-5 team, but they just can`t seem to get it done on Sundays and both they`re D and O look too inconsistent.

Gotta give QH`s qb props. His arm might be as limp as a 90 yr old great grandfather, but he makes quick decisions and moves the ball. Not sure why PS didn`t pick QH`s zone apart. They were playing 2 safeties and the slot recievers were wide open.

QH had in their back up Qb against Psquad. It was a good game though. To answer above, all games on BC #2 were canceled (well at least the first two) but BC #1 played.

anyone know why BC2 was cancelled? the two fields, BC1 and BC2, looked to be in the same condition?

they weren`t in the same condition. BC2 was a lot more saturated than 1. It sits lower than BC1.

QH was just a more faster team than USIS.

AHAHAHA. Like I said, WP has had the benefit of 2 easy games against the Prowlers and Desktop and a SUPER lucky win over QH, but I know it`s not their fault as the league makes the schedule. It`s just funny how they really got over confident and came back with some witty comments and blah blah. I guess this weekend was a BIG reality check for them.

now we know why they were doing half decent. the two bottom teams....WP IS GARBAGE

I just checked the scores for this weekend`s games - 41 points against wolfpack?? what happened? were they missing half their team or something? I thought wolfpack was a good team cuz they had a close game with Chuck Norris earlier this season (7-0 loss I beleive). What happened? Highlights please?

the CN and WP game was close cus CN has been averaging 7 points this season (not a knock on CN) and CN just shut them out. The QH game was won by one point off of a lucky pick in QH`s redzone. Like everyone`s been saying, they shouldn`t have been on that high horse for beating desktop and the prowlers.

QH was just too fast yesterday for both their opponents yesterday. If they bring the same speed & intensity against CN, it will be a great game.

It`s not that QH is faster, it`s that they just pitch the ball non-stop. It will work for a while, but not against the best teams in the league. And definitely not in the more competitive leagues.

i dont remember them being fast as all they did were dumpoffs and screens all game. theyre dline is pretty fast but i wonder how they`d fair with the midgets oline, cus those are some big*****people.

play 2 deep safeties and rush 3 every down, the middle deep is open every play. USIS scored on a long one down the middle, had another big pass down the middle, and had a defensive PI call down the middle. Midgets `go up and get it` guys will kill it.

where were these "go up and get it" guys against CN? 6 and 41 is a big difference.

Ive seen the Midgets in two games. In both games the majority of their offense was long pass plays on the outside where it was 1v1 and the WR got the ball. The other plays were deep down the middle.

I do know that QH has 1 player taller than 5`6. I also know QH`s middle opens up when they play 5 in coverage with 2 safeties over the top. But, theyll occasionally play 2 underneath, 3 deep, then it`s a show.

The qb isn`t bigger than 5`5, and is quick but they are limited because they cannot consistently stretch the field, and have to rely on the dump off`s and short passes. If teams contain the flats and get in his face, they should have a field day.

the Midgets have been the most inconsistant team so far. Loose a close one to CN (6 pts)and then blow out WP (41 pts). I think people over look the fact that even though CN`s O doesn`t put up a lot of points and their D (Fireman) get a lot attention, they manage the game real well and don`t make mistakes. WP`s not a bad team, they were just overmatched yesterday. The rest of the season should be interesting.

The QH QB during yesterday`s double header is their back up. He did an excellent job managing the game and ended up with 2 Ws. The starting QB has a gun for an arm and opens up the field. QH was also missing 5 starters. Their D is allowing an avg of 7pts per game...pretty good for those slow small players

WP is NOT GOOD. what is everyones fascination with that team? any team out besides two, can beat them. midgets are inconsistant maybe because they have the least amount of people that show up to every game and are playing both sides of the ball. fireman?? 72 or w/e his number is from the midgets tossed him around like he was a f*cking puppy, dont hype that guy up like hes a god. cn, mgts, qh, ta, PS, any of those teams could, already have, or will smack wp up.

Fireman pretty much leads the league in sacks, so even if 1 guy "tossed him around" i`m pretty sure he still leads the league in sacks.

It seems as if the league is culturally accurate. USIS, Midgets, WTF, all play with 8-12 players. While QH, the asian team, plays with 18 players on their squad.

yes CN rushes 2 and they still manage to get pressure. wonder how they give up only 4 points per game? try completing passes with 6 in coverage + a pass rush.

Damn if you read I actually acknowledged the fact that #77 was a load, and i dont normally play O-Line. That big mofo out weighed me by 80lbs or so, but the main thing is we came out on top.

We moved the ball fairly well against CN (and were the first team to score on them, and have the most points against them), and blocked their pass rush effectively.

Two reasons why it worked for us. The first is an extremely mobile QB, who can also throw the ball. Very hard to ignore either aspect of his game. The second was the spread offense. Probably the first time they had seen it this year.

What CN does have though, is one of the best flag pulling units in the league. If you can pull flags well, that translates into wins. We couldn`t do it against them. We never got off the field defensively.

...and yes it is very true we only rush 2 and drop 6. Been like that every game thus far and it works, but only if you have the personel up front to do it, and if you dont beleive it ask the teams that have played us or come out and watch and take notes.

They do only rush 2 and they play with 2 safeties. I`m telling you, while their D line is good the way they manage the game in more impressive. They are ok with taking their time and punting. No turn overs or penalties or missed PATs. They trust that their D can get it back for them. You don`t win this many 1-2 pt. games if you make mistakes. If you only get the ball 4 times durring the game you damn well better make it count. Teams haven`t done that yet. Case in point, WP in red zone 3 times. Couldn`t get it done. Midgets, missed PAT. PS, missed PAT early. Tried for 2, didn`t get it.

was watching the game from the WP sideline - they were all saying WP 16 was their best player other than WP 55. WP 55 got a handoff early in the game and ran for 10-12 yards and that was it. Didnt touch the ball after that. As far as WP 16, who was supposedly their best player according to the WP cheerleaders - he ended up with 0 catches - the defense smothered both WP 16 and WP 55
