Actually, United beat PKL twice last season.

both were very close games, but United did pull out the wins. Last season was last season for a reason.

PS at number 1?? They`re doing good so far but you`re taking it a bit far there.

They are 4-0 and you haven`t even seen them playing with their full squad.

1.Diesel - most talented team and proven
2.Munity - made it to final last year and will be United if
play again
3.Penetrators (aka Titans) - beaten United before
4.PS - undefeated and have better talents among undefeated
teams.
5.United - age is catching up to them, not talent enough
and smart alone will not help win championship.

I think you need to bump PS a little higher. And maybe find room for PLK.

They`re doing good so far. With their schedule they better be. But don`t go nuts because they`re undefeated against the bottom 3 teams. Btw, how do you know they haven`t been playing with their "full squad"? Information like that is only known by the team. Stop tryingto hype yourselves up and keep on doing what you`re doing. You face a test against outlaws and united.

Why all the hate for PS? They are 4-0. If they take care of business this week and Unity loses then there should be no questions of who No. 1 is.

I can`t get on the PS train yet... i mean they were a better C team last year but no trophy.. and their wins this year have been weak, even the diesel win from what i hear

Would a win over outlaws silence the critics?

My top 5:

1) United - Still the champs, still undefeated, still defeating their opponents at an average of 24-8.
2) Diesel - Forget the loss to PS, that was a different team. These guys would be my #1 if United had a loss.
3) Mutiny - I said before that it would be between these guys and Pain for the National, well it looks like Mutiny took a step ahead this week.
4) PKL - The win over Pain this week was big time, and I know the Penetrators have the same record, but it`s not against the same quality teams.
5) Arsenals - They get the nod over PS because of SOS. They`re 3-1 but they beat a tough Larry`s team and just lost to United.

I`ll say this, because people will HOWL because I left a 4-0 team out of the top 5. Practice Squad is doing better than I ever thought they would, stepping up from C with a sub .500 regular season record, and I know it`s not their fault, they don`t make the schedule, but their opponents combined W-L record right now is 3-13 and their last three opponents are now 0-4. This week against the Outlaws will be their first REAL test. If they win this week, then we can talk about them being a legit top 5 team.

You are correct Steve....again, good post. Your points are valid. Diesel and United are a toss up at #1, with a few other seasoned teams right behind them. PKL has come a long way, granted, they laid an egg against Goldrush, but they are pretty solid.

If PS beats Outlaws do they jump to 1. or 2.?

I`d only put them at 5. I`m not sure their offensive line could have an answer for an athletic defensive line like Mutiny`s or PKL. Maybe they could, but I think until I see otherwise, I`d give Mutiny and PKL the nod over them.

Are you going to set teh game up? I believe PS has scrimmaged them before. Course that really doesn`t mean much. But it would be nice to see a game between a few B league teams that aren`t going to see each other in their playoffs!

Maybe for bragging rights only? I`m sure a few teams would be a bit nervous to take a lose ~> Pain vs Diesel! Mutiny vs United. PKL vs Outlaws.

Pain seems to have trouble with the faster teams. There is no way they would be able to handle Diesel`s speed. Mutiny and United would be a good rematch but I would take United 4 out of 5 times. PLK and Outlaws would be an even match IMO but would take Outlaws as the victor.

I`m not sure that United could take Mutiny 4 out of 5. Yes, United wins but it`s a toss up every week unless it`s some dead end opponent like Reign. United is smart and plays a relatively simple game; it`s probably why they win. For some reason watching Arsenals is very similar to watching United, maybe they`ll make the move this year.

I think these would be good games and take away some of the overal BS on the message board.

How does PKL get a pass for laying an egg against GR and Pain doesn`t get a pass for laying an egg against PKL? There`s no consistancy to these picks. With this logic, PS should be #1. I still see the top teams as Diesel, Outlaws, Mutiny, Pain. Everyone else`s win over these teams should be considered an upset.

consider outlaws a real test for ps: they played us, diesel solid and they did not have some of there good players on the field on defense i don`t know if they were hurt or what but anyway ps is in for a fight ...
