This now posted to registration link:

Registration for the IFFL Spring League (Sunday games) will open Friday, January 16, 2008.

To get in, your team must pay a $300.00 deposit and print out and mail in a 1-page team registration form. You can pay the deposit online or mail a check with your registration page. Information for doing both will be posted here when registration opens 1/16.

After that, 2 more payments of $280 will be due: (1) late March, (2) late April. Total team fee is $860, and covers all officiating, awards, county team/field fees, and playoffs.

As in the past, this league runs an Open and Novice division. Open is a mix of A and B teams where the top 12-16 from Open make the "A" playoffs, and the rest go to "B".

Novice is for new teams and sub .500 C/Novice teams from the previous season or Spring.

We don`t know what fields we`ll get until February, but we have requested all turf & Hook Rd.

Gametimes will be 8:00, 9:10, & 10:20 on the turf fields, 8:00, 9:10, 10:20 and 11:30 at Hook Rd.

We should have room for 38-42 teams total. With 8 or 9 teams per division, expect a 7 game regular season followed by playoffs for all teams.

We will not play Easter Sunday or Memorial Day weekend, we will play ******`s Day.

There will be one Novice division, and 3 or 4 Open divisions, depending on the team count.

There is no team/coaches meeting - that takes place in the summer for both Spring and Fall leagues.

is it to late to register a team.

Awards9:29 PM

Tom - how about we get rid of the medals and get tee shirts for the winners. With most of us being out of college a tee shirt is better than medals.

Vet10:48 AM

I`m for the t-shirt instead of the medals.

medals10:55 AM

medals over t-shirts. t-shirts are dumb. medals you can keep forever :)

T shirt11:32 AM

T-shirt over medals!

Both

Old School1:45 PM

Love the old long sleeve mock turtlenecks...still have two that are in great shape from 2000 and 2002!

Shirts6:06 PM

Voted T-shirts over medals. Medals are corny, at least we can wear the shirts.

Matt Ramsey6:17 PM

I like to wear my medal when I go out on the weekends. I get more girls than Shane Falco and Johnny Utah combined.

tshirts07:09 AM

Tshirts all the way...

tark4:07 PM

t-shirts equal good advertising for the league

Peter North9:24 PM

Matt Ramsey - your name sounds familiar. Were you on the Penetrators (or were the Penetrators on you...)?
