| Yeah | 10:04 PM |
Mutiny and Gators should be moved to Novice and TNT and Havok should be moved to Open. What do you think? |
| Nah | 10:17 PM |
Gators should have started in Novice. Mutiny is an experienced team, no need to be in Novice. Havok and TNT have beaten up on some of the worst competition in Novice, let`s see what happens when they play better teams. |
| Mutiny | 10:38 PM |
has been around for years and still sucks, they should be kicked out of the league |
| agree | 00:20 AM |
Gators, TNT, and Havok are all brand new teams trying to find team chemistry. Just because some of their players have experience don`t mean they should automatically jump into the big boy division. TNT and Havok are actually smart for working their way up unlike some of the new teams in Open now. Gators and TF and we`ll see about Truth should`ve had that mentality. As far as Mutiny, they really have no excuse. |
| No | 06:31 AM |
they aren`t. Mutiny is fine, just have had alot of injuries |
| Dumb | 07:22 AM |
post. Remember those "weak" teams allow you a win. If they were not at the bottom YOU WOULD BE because Rhinos and the other top dogs would beat you senseless and force you to go to novice or rethink playing flag football. |
| Agreed | 08:58 AM |
Dumb post. Don`t go jumping into the deep end without knowing how to swim. TNT and Havok knew that they would get destroyed in Open so made the sensible choice of starting in Novice. Maybe they`ll move up next season. |
| Doubt | 09:01 AM |
it, probaly change the team name again and stay in Novice. |
| Havok and TNT | 09:17 AM |
I watched them play. Both of the teams should be in Open, but they might not be that good. Both of the team merged from open league teams. They came down just to run the table. |
| ? | 09:24 AM |
So the same could be said about Wahoos. They`re a combination of Arsenals and Irreverence. And Rebels, who spawned from Midgets. The only team in Novice West that has no experience is AASC.
You guys are acting like just because they have experience they all should have moved up. You can`t just gather a bunch of experienced/talented players and expect them to have chemistry right away (ie: TF and we`ll see about Truth). Point is, I`m willing to be a lot of the novice teams checked their ego`s at the door and knew they needed experience before stepping up with the big boys. |
| tnt | 09:34 AM |
Is n novice because all but 3 members are new to the league |
| Steve Ahbahba | 09:37 AM |
Oh come on, Havok is a bunch of no talent ass-clowns :) |
| Hmm | 09:41 AM |
I wouldn`t say that. They avg about 30 pts a game. |
| Steve Ahbahba | 09:44 AM |
Well maybe, but have you SEEN those bright ass green shoes their QB wears?? It`s no wonder they score 30 pts a game, all their opponents are friggin` blinded! |
| C league player | 09:46 AM |
Why are the other spin off teams not doing so good? And did those teams drop down to run the tables too?? Its seems that people are trying to call those teams out for doing what any new team should. If you are a bunch of new guys that haven`t played together you start off in the beginners (NOVICE) league. |
| Fact is | 10:54 AM |
No matter what it`s tough to be in open unless the team have been together good 2 or 3 seasons. That`s the reason why the Rhino`s and Lazy`s are always in contention. Every year I see the same faces with these teams and they run the same plays every year yet you can`t stop them. |
| exactly | 11:07 AM |
experience or not, a bunch of players thrown together onto a new team will not be able to gel right away. As "Fact is" says, all the teams that run open year in and year out have been playing together for years. |

| But | 11:27 AM |
Wacth out for the LIONS in the novice. They looking like a strong team. |
| Jmillz22 | 11:54 AM |
TNT maybe new but don`t sleep. We must go through the novice first but open is no to far away. Just because there was a psquad "key word was" it a new season and you see the scores put up by both teams. TNT is just taking 1 game at a time! |
| OK | 11:57 AM |
So if you look at the Novice teams and they make it to the Playoffs they should stuggle against the weak open teams. Havok would kill any weak team in open. TNT would not have a hard time either. Lions are not all that good. Just have to watch for the HB options. DE can contain that, if they are good. |
| I | 11:59 AM |
doubt that |
| ... | 12:02 PM |
oooookay jmillz |
| So | 12:02 PM |
Jmillz are you a "new" player on TNT or from psquad? |
| Jmillz22 | 12:05 PM |
we will see this Sunday against team beer. i think some off you should be focused on you own match ups and not when TNT will be in open. But i must say i love the buzz about us. |
| lol | 12:12 PM |
he`s a noob...coyote will probably tell him to stfu soon and stop attracting attention |
| ^^^^^^ | 12:15 PM |
Dont need attention im not starting threads i just speak about MY team when there is a discussion. sorry if thats being a "Noob...." |
| To: OK | 12:15 PM |
Most of the weak open teams would have killed the teams that Havoc and TNT have played so far too. Lets be real some of the open teams should have started in novice. With that being said they (Havoc and TNT) might win but would definitly struggle against any of the winless veteran team (Mutiny, CN, TF) just to name a few. |
| ^^^^ | 12:19 PM |
That`s a lot of "mights and maybes" but all i know is we play our schedule just like everyone else and we handle it on the field. |
| Player | 12:25 PM |
All good Novice teams are the same. You all think that you can come up to Open and win games. There are only 2 teams on Open that you would have a chance in hell at beating, Truth and Francis. And then it would be like an inter-squad srimmage. You all are from the same team originally anyways. So that would prove nothing.
Get over yourselves and enjoy your time in Novice b/c if you make the jump in the Fall you will be in for a rude awakening. |
| To: ^^^^ | 12:28 PM |
I hope you are not one of the old PS players that ran back to "C" and is now talking about handling business on the field. Maybe he is trying to heal his broken wings. LOL |
| ^^^ | 12:30 PM |
Well hopefully that will be the situation in the fall but as for now i guess will continue to sleep walk waiting for this great awakening!!! All we want to do is win the games we have to play. |
| Player | 12:40 PM |
I will say this though. It`s easier to build team chemistry while winning than while getting thumped 30-0. In the mean time us Open teams will continue to make examples out of you up and comers. |
| To: Player | 12:52 PM |
I would avoid the inevitable as long as I could. Soon enough they will be eating open ****meat sandwhiches. |
| Hahahha | 12:55 PM |
Oh no please mr open player...don`t make examples out of us...
If you were a decent player from open you`d use your name and team instead of talking trash to novice teams. Dbag. |
| ^^^^millz | 12:57 PM |
thats kinda funny. |
| sooo | 1:03 PM |
what, open jealous of novice? haha hiliariouss...focus on ur own division pls |
| ... | 1:05 PM |
just remembered why novice teams get no love on these boards. all the new people come in thinking they can run the league and all the vet people think their sh*t don`t stink. |
| Wow | 1:19 PM |
The funny thing is, I didn’t see any novice team talking smack towards the open teams, so why are YOU (Mr. Open Leaguer) being so defensive? Jmillz just open his mouth talking about how his team is going through the novice process before stepping up to the open league…what’s so wrong with that? Don’t tell me you were hurt from that comment? The only smack talk I’m seeing is from YOU (Mr. Open Leaguer) towards the novice league. So Jmillz open his mouth about his team, SO WHAT! Does he speak for the rest of us, NOPE! Make sure you open leaguers direct your comments to that individual and his team instead of the other novice teams who are minding their own business. Thank you! |
| To: wow | 1:26 PM |
Sounds like you and Jmillz are in a relationship...I mean defending your man and all with capital letters. |
| to: wow | 1:32 PM |
a gay novice relationship....no capital letters needed |
| hhaha | 1:37 PM |
jmillz sounds like he receives cus Wow seems to be the more dominant one of the relationship. |
| Player | 2:16 PM |
You can say what you want and get defensive but the truth is what it is. Show me one team that was either new or moved up from Novice and was successful in their first Open season. Every Novice player says the same things you are saying but there is a learning curve. What you donkeys don`t realize is that you are beating up on teams with guys who thought it would be fun to try something new so they chose flag football on Sunday mornings. When you come to Open you are playing teams that have been together for many many years and are just better plain and simple. |
| Tell me this: | 3:10 PM |
What learning curve does a team need when you put 39 points on the board two weeks in a row against a novice team? Hovak might be a team that should have joined the B league (in the Fall)and(for Spring Open). |
| Umm | 3:32 PM |
They played redemption. Any decent team can put up that much on them. And rebels just suck. Even people onthe midgets say they suck. Let`s see how havok does against wahoos/irreverence/arsenals. |
| Player | 3:33 PM |
Maybe Havoc belongs in Open? Maybe they have the old PS coach and his system/ players? Maybe the two teams they have played are terrible?
Yes, 39 points two weeks in a row is impressive no matter what league you play in.
I promise you this though the competition over all is why tougher in Open. In Novice there are some realy realy bad teams. So I guess my point is that it takes even the best Novice teams time to adjust to the level of play once they move up to Open. All you have to do is look at seasons past for proof. |
| Flag Fan | 9:28 PM |
It`s so beautifulllllll, open and novice are throwing so much smack that the site needs webcam, u can expect the line of competition 2 step up here this upcoming sunday, rep your division well fellas...
Flag Fan (singing) duh duh duh duh.... |
| agree with player | 10:55 PM |
you can`t just jump into open with the big boys and think you`ll make some noise. most of the new teams are made up of new people and each team will need time to create chemistry. i dont care who you are, you`ll need time to create the type of chemistry the big dogs in open have had for the past couple of seasons. |
| ummm | 11:36 PM |
there are midget players on rebel. midgets hatin on one another now? |
