I got called for a penalty on sunday for taking too much time on a field goal. I took the snap, and took a step to put the ball down, the kicker was in motion to kick the ball, and then the ref blew the whistle. I must not have been more than 4-5 seconds....so watch out, know the rule is out there. |

I bet you spent 20 seconds looking for the tee and the kicking ball. The clock is ticking while you`re doing all of that rookie. |

According to the refs, you have 5 seconds upon snapping the ball. Maybe you took too long? |

In the past, our kicker has been hit with this as well. Come to think of it, our kicker at the time was Al, the current kicker of the Outlaws. |
