Thanks for the compliment, but we will wait and see what happens come playoff time to figure out if we are a contender or pretender. Right now, we are just getting ready for this weekends game. We are an organized team that plays well together. We do a bunch of little things right. Woulda, shoulda, coulda, but did not beat Lazy. They are a good team and we wish them luck. We can make all the excuses in the world, but we did not win and we have moved on.

i watched a bit of the banditos game sunday and while they were playing a much worse team in the gators they definitely showed a lot of good things. the qb was on the money and their receivers were coming down with it in nasty weather. pretty impressive showing.

I agree with you News Update, but if we go 4-3 then we do not deserve to be in the A playoffs anyway. I know you are implying that we will lose our last two games, but right now we are only worried about playing the Midgets this weekend.

Whats with the bashing of CN lately? And um no I do not play for them. I commend them for staying in Open and playing, take their lumps, learn from it and move on.

any team that steps up and tries their hardest in a tougher league gets more respect than some experienced teams that are afraid and step down to play in Novice or "C".

CN..now that you`ve praised yourselves, back to losing this weekend..but remember, you get more respect for doing so.

I stated that they wouldn`t win more than one game, because every team in the Open West is better than Banditos except for CN. Banditos have always been a lower level Open team. Congrats on beating up on a weak division. You will get your arse handed to you first round of the playoffs.

bash Banditos. Not sure who started this thread, but if it was a Banditos player, they obviously know their role now - if not, they were just an idiot.

At this point in the season it is obvious that there are 6-8 teams in Open that are "true" Open teams, and everyone else is still developing. A loss from one of those other "developing" teams doesn`t mean anything. In a game where one developing team plays another, it could be anyone`s game. Banditos have some talent, but so does EVERY OTHER team in Open, even the teams that don`t have any wins. Its how each team plays together, leverages that talent, and adjusts to other teams that makes the difference.
