• While its been next to impossible to win back to back titles in the modern era of the Spring league, two teams have managed to win championships spaced two season apart (Brion`s Grille/My Plumber in 98 & 00, Church Raiders in 01 & 03). The Wolves have a chance to join this list.

On another note, the Lazy Sundae/Wolves game is going to be flag football at its best. You’ll have the top 2 QBs in this league battling out. If you want to see how the game is supposed to be played and how to run an offense, this is definitely the game to check out. Can’t wait to see the chess match between the two QB’s in this one.

Losing several key players has a huge affect on a team. I know for a fact when you have to plug someone into a spot then you have a hole at another position. Plus it takes about a full season to feel comfortable playing with someone your not familiar with. Add the fact that some of the guys are getting up there in years and may be losing a step it all is compounded. They have had an off year before(A in weeknights a few years back) but revamped and were competitive, lets hope they can do it again because except for a barkbowl brawl a few years ago they are a good group of guys.

So logically, if the Wolves suck I guess every team but Lazy and DMob must suck even worse as they were the only teams who made it further.

I find it very amusing how the nameless, faceless, critics can’t wait to jump on the boards and start bashing. Regardless of whether you like the Wolves, only one team can win it all, but final four in the IFFL spring open is still pretty darn good.
