gonna be some interesting matches next sunday. As well congrats on the teams that made it. I think GH will come out strong take the game against the Lions. As for Buddah, I think they can beat Havok as long as they play smart. I think every team is going to be challenged in some sort of way.

For once, can someone NOT predict the Lions losing? IIRC, there were like six predictions in the last playoff thread about the Lions being upset by their first team, spanked by TNT, etc, etc...

They put on a hell of a showing today. I`d say they deserve the obvious to be said for them.

I posted earlier this season that the beast is in the East. I think that is pretty clear now. Only team left from the West is Havok. Havok has played only one of the top 4 teams in the east....and our 4 seed (WTF) beat them!

Buddah over Havok 27-20
Lions over Grand Hustle 32-14

Lions over Buddah 24-17

Today... Havok 19 WTF 0. But i do agree that West is a weak division but East isn`t strong either. Just the better of 2 sucky divisions.

After watching a few games yesterday, there is some good talent out there. That being said, I think either one of the four teams is deserving.

Team Beer- Inconsistant at times, what happened with that "D" they were supposed to have.
Team Rebels- No QB and no playmakers
Grand Hustle- "D" looked suspect at times, Offense was moving at will both games.

My predictions for the final four -
GH over Lions (28-14)
Havok over Buddah (24-17)

well it looks pretty obvious what games you looked at yesterday. The Lions put on a clinic yesterday on both offense and defense and I give credit where it is due. They are a lot better than what they were in the beginning of the season. I don`t see a reason why they are always written off.

It`s what we been waiting for and it`s going to happen. Havok vs Lions. GH and Buddah? who are they?

that GH and Buddah are good teams. i`m sure that both the Lions and havok have taken notice and surely at this level will not take anything lightly.

Give the Lions credit where credit is due. They played whoever was put in front of them and handled them. Our game was closer then teh score reflected earlier in the season but still, THEY WON point blank and we look forward to playing them again as I think it will be a very good game!

the Lions vs GH game will be good. Both teams seem to have gotten a lot better since they last met.

neither team was at full force when we played last time..notice I said NEITHER! So yeah I think both teams at full strength this time of the year WILL be a good game!

Shoot, I think most of the lions players will agree the last one was a good one..

I would expect GH to win the whole thing. They have played at every level the league has to offer. They started in MD Open, got smashed, dropped to VA B, got smashed, won a game or two the Reston Cup last summer, and this Spring dropped to VA Novice. If they don`t win this season what`s next, Chantilly Youth Football Association? But hey, congrats on beating the Rebels.

My team had a rough season in Open. Maybe Tom will let us drop to C in the Fall?

Naw, I really DON`T care. We all go out and play hard each week. I enjoy the games and the teams we have played so far! Who knows what will happen this weekend, I`m not predicting anything more then a really good game!

As for "Player" we`ve discussed why GH is in the Novice division this year, TOM discussed why we went through what we did. If you still feel the need to belittle us, feel free to let us know what team you play for and your number... i think allot of the posts are from the west division because the east must have given up on the message boards. It`s going to come down to lions vs havok. GH has been on a roll but lions are a smart team. Same goes for havok. They lost to wtf but then they just shut them out. So pretty much they are in the same spot as the lions. GH and Buddha are well deserving but will be both blown out by 2 hungry teams gunning for each other. Now that game will come down to Havok`s qb and the offense stalling. If that happens Lions take it by field goals. If not then havok takes it by a td. Both ways its gonna be a low scoring one possesion game.

I agree with what you said, but I don`t think that Havok and the Lions ar eon the same level. I think the Lions play more smarter and from the looks of that game against TNT they are not one dimensional. Judging by the scores of some of their games, it seems like they are clickinig on all cylinders. But all the teams have my respect for making it this far. I would love to see GH and Rude play as well. maybe it could happen

Have you played against Havok? Everybody worries about their qb, but that`s the last thing you should be worried about. Try scoring on them. Last four games have been shut outs.

We played well against the Ligers in game 1, congrats to them and there season,The second game we play poor. Too many mental mistakes and not enough in game adjustments. The lions are a solid team, good luck to them. I think i will be there this weekend to see how takes the chip.As this was my first season in this league i really enjoyed playing against every team and look forward to more games in this league. I also thank the refs for there work and explanations on calls.

GH did step up in Fall `08 and got smoked in every game. Finishing the season just as well as the 2008 NFL Lions.

but gh seems to have it all figured out, they hav a solid bench and a coach. qb is quick and has a great arm. overall a solid team

@re:gh, you are ABSOLUTELY right, we stepped up in fall 08 and got our ***es handed to us with no lube! A few of the games towards the end we SHOULD have won, but at that point we were no different then any NEW team in the novice division. We took our lumps in that division and MAY have gained respect from those teams for showing up and playing every game til the very end.

This season, we are a little more cohesive which makes a big difference. Either way, we`ve come a long way in a season and have improved throughout this season as well! If we move up to B (coach and captains decision) we will play those games just like we played the games this season...

I am picking Buddha. Know one gives those dudes any respect.

There coach turned them around from last year looks like. i`ve seen them play great and i`ve seen them play like a bunch of scrubs but, on this weekend i am picking them to upset Havok and go on to play Lions.

Yall played good on sunday. Especally against us in the first game really handed it to us. But you guys where respectful to me atleast the entire time. I know a few tiems i helped you guys after field goals and all of yall said thanks. After words there where no bad words for anyone. I respect teams that come out and want to have a good time and play football. I wish you guys the best of luck this weekend i might be able to get up there and watch the final two game. Pretty much. Only saw the final game but Havoc was no match for the Lions. Havoc`s O looked terrible. Maybe they were tired or just not as good but they were a step behind the Lions on both sides of the ball the entire game.

I will say this though. While I don`t think the Lions have a chance in hell at beating Lazy, it will be an interesting game to watch.

From the looks of things havok was both tired and overmatched. I guess the beast is in the east now. Good job lions!

We have said very little all season and let our gameplay do the talking for us. We have nothing against no other team but respect. Being a first year team we came a long way and we were just living in the moment of making it so far. To all the teams that we played this season, I want to say thanks for the respect and the good sportmanship. I had a lot of fun. Well most teams showed it!

i`m trying to be funny. GH32 was all over the message boards. now not so much.

Point blank, the Lions showed up to play and we didnt. We had no focus motivation or anything else needed to contend in that game. The Lions came out and played like the Champs that they ended up being.

Agreeing with my teammate. We played a horrible game and the Lions came ready and beat us. I was all over the messageboard saying it would be a good game. It was probably the worst we`ve played all season, and that includes myself personally.
