Refs warned our players about foul lang. When one of our players said sh*t. Then on the next series on 3rd in 10 one of our players missed a flag an another of our players said "Jesus Christ ". The down should be 4th and 5 but wait there is a flag. We were given a 15yrd penalty for saying Jesus Christ. Giving them a 1rst dwn.The ref said that Jesus Christ is foul lang. They scored on that drive.All I could say was J*S*S CHR*ST that was a bad call.

over the top, don`t you think? I agree taking the Lord`s name in vain isn`t cool, but it shouldn`t be a 15 yarder. What if I yelled `Allah No!` when I missed a flag? Or how about `Yahweh be praised!` when my team got an INT? Would that be a 15 yarder as well?

I personally thought it was a little harsh. There were a lot of calls that were questionable on both sides. It did make the game a little more interesting. Good game nonetheless.

to clear the air i didnt get tossed for cussing i got tossed for arguring with my own player on our sidelines after i got a 15 yarder with the ref. Pretty petty if you ask me and the ref told a guy on our team if i knew he was the QB i wouldnt have tossed me. I never cussed at him tho to clear the air................

should cussing or "taking the lord`s name in vain" be a penalty when not directed at the refs or an opponent? it`s completely idiotic. last time i checked this is an adult flag football league.

The IFFL is constantly fighting for fields and has to really push to get enough to host our games. If the county hears we are gettting lots of complaints about cursing, then it won`t keep giving us fields and the league will fail. It is not because we are all offended by it, but rather so that we can keep playing.

adult league, than act like an adult and stop cursing. someone please explain to potty mouth why it`s a penalty. i`m in no mood to talk to a child.

and let us think that she raised you decently. We had a little league game right after us so there was plenty of kids and parents that wouldn`t want to hear that crap. Do the league a favor and lose in silence from now on.
