this one was a great one, united had alot of penalties, but managed to score when they had the ball. 14-10 united driving gets stopped and misses a field goal, pens drive and score leaving just around 2 minutes on the clock. 17-14 pens. united gets the ball and drives, scores on the QB scramble and pitch for a TD. pens get the ball back and throw up a pass and united misses alot of flags they get to the 25 yard line. had a couple of chances to win but united still undefeated!!!

United, Truth, Pens, or Mutiny will lose in the first round because of the A teams coming down. Makes no sense why the top seeds in the B will have to play the lower seed A. Its like The Detroit Lions, Clevland Browns coming to play Texas and Florida in the first round. So if Detroit beats Florida, they go on to win the B division. I would rather play in A, see that speed and skill level and then come to B and woop a@#.

United, Pens, or Mutiny playing in B when they were in the A playoffs in the spring and beat teams in the season who are in the A league right now. who has been in this league for more than one or two seasons knows there isn`t much difference between an "A" team like Vegas Nights and Outcast and a "B" team like United and Penetrators. Sure the A league is better, but when comparing the top of B to the bottom of A, there isn`t that much difference. Don`t expect those two teams to come in and coast, they should be good games.

The `A` teams come in as the 4 and 5 seeds, and have to play each other in the first round. So, based on traditional seeding, the winner of 2 vs 7 gets the `A` game winner.

Vegas Nights will beat outcast. I think united is the only B team that can beat them

Pens, United and Mutiny are top level B teams (just like Outcast who joined A late in registration) would you rather play in B and win a bunch of games and have some fun, then make some noise in the playoffs, maybe taking home the trophy...or would you rather play in A, goin home upset every sunday cuz you get smashed every game (Outcast) and then still go to the same B playoff bracket with no momentum and a mentally beat up squad?? i say smart move on their part....to the rest of you, just get better

I explained the reasons for all of this in a previous thread. No teams currently in "B" refused to play in "A", and would have played in "A" had I requested them to. No team in "A" was forced to play in "A".

The fewer levels of competition, the more teams we`ll have on the fence between one level and another. What we`re doing this Fall is a hybrid between the multiple Open division format and the straight A/B format. It works both ways, up and down - so I leave it up to the teams themselves to sort it out.

We got 10 teams in "A" and closed it. The reward for playing in the IFFL Fall "A" League is guaranteed playoffs. Any team on the fence between "A" and "B" could have taken me up on the offer before we hit the 10 team mark.

That`s a decision each individual team made on its own, fully aware of the circumstances and options. Believe me - there was no stampede to register for "A", and no team in "A" registered for "A" simply to guarantee themselves a slot in the "B" playoffs.

The last explanation post from the commish should put an end to this ongoing whiny debate. No team in A is sandbagging to play B playoffs. That`s ridiculous and if you`ve been around this league you`d realize this. You should give props to Outcast and Vegas for battling it out in a tough A division each week and not hiding out in B where they`d probably finish somewhere at the top with United, Mutiny, and the other B+/A- type teams. Play up, see where you stand, and if nothing else you won`t get crucified by the haters on this board when you move down next season.
